From the trailer it looks like they've got a clear idea of who most everyone in Westview is, but they're missing a few cards for people like Dottie, the Doctor and his wife and a few others. Also noticeably absent from this board is an official form of government ID with Agnes' file meaning she's either off the grid or maybe she's not of this world? And finally we can glean Westview is in New Jersey which happens to be where Ms. Marvel is going to take place ...

Show Us Your Atlas Books - Have A Cigar
AJLewandoski replied to Silver Surfer's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
It's tough to win the good stuff in one Dale's threads but I think I did okay The battle action I found at an antique store for $20 over the weekend, love the composition of that cover -
Oh yea I'm of the mindset that theyre all trapped just thought I'd throw in the conspiracy. If I'm going to play devils advocate (pun intended) I'm not saying Wanda is dead I'm saying her reality warping led to bringing the dead citizens of Westview back along with the previously dead Vision. Monica is the outlier here because she came in from outside, thats why Herb and Agnes explicitly say she has no home here. If for example this were a genuine community there would probably be somewhere for her to live, but say this is perhaps a cemetery where a live person would have nowhere to go...

So my question to all who care is what do we think Herb was going to say when Agnes kept interrupting? "We are all..."? I've seen two schools of thought on the matter. So far the easiest and probably most likely is "We are all trapped." but the other option I've seen thrown around is "We are all dead." which would be a decidedly more dark and interesting plot.

Wanda was initially tied to Hydra because Baron Von Strucker was the one who experimented on her and Pietro and gave them their powers in AOU. *See my post right above my first reply to you for my breakdown of SWORD and AIM MCU facts and my personal theories.* SWORD is wholly new to this series and altered slightly from their comic counterpart as Sentient Weapons instead of Sentient Worlds in Wandavision.

The bee keepers suit has the SWORD logo on the back, so I doubt AIM has anything to do with this show. They used AIM in Iron Man 3 as Aldritch Killians tech company, so I don't see them retooling plotlines. Whats more likely is the bee keeper is a SWORD agent in a hazmat suit trying to infiltrate Wanda's sphere of influence (or if I'm gonna throw in a personal theory Mephistos sphere of influence) around this town and he only appears as a bee keeper because that's how Wanda rationalized his presence within her new reality.

Not only that, but they put out a featurette, and there was a not so subtle look at someone with a familial connection to aforementioned villain that may or may not be headed our way... Seeing as how both are deeply rooted in Wanda and Visions backstories it would be interesting to see how they factor into this iteration.

Storage for Slabbed Books - Plastic or Cardboard??
AJLewandoski replied to thewritestuff's topic in Comics General
I only have 4 slabbed books, so I couldn't tell you exactly, the rest of mine is full of magazine size books. The interior size is half an inch shorter than a normal cardboard short CGC size box, so whatever you could fit in a regular box before should still fit in these. -
Storage for Slabbed Books - Plastic or Cardboard??
AJLewandoski replied to thewritestuff's topic in Comics General
I would go with BCWs Short Comic Book BINS. I transitioned all my books over, they're super high quality and really sturdy. If you're trying to accommodate for the mylites it should be more than enough room in the CGC size bin. They have really nice solid plastic dividers that are adjustable and stay in place and they have locking lids. I know they're like $25/bin (they're actually cheaper than the corrugated plastics boxes though), but if you're putting high value slabs in it's worth it to buy a high value storage solution. Here's what they look like: -
I spent $10 at a con for a random 30 pack of comics and ended up winning an Amazing Spider-Man #13 in like 2.0 shape nothing too crazy.

Little Giant Comics says HELLO
AJLewandoski replied to Little Giant Comics's topic in Comics General
This thread, and that quote, are from 3 years ago he's got to be a seasoned veteran by now -
That is rougher than rough. I heard they're calling in the army engineer corps to try and stabilize and fix the oxygen supplies for all the overloaded hospitals in LA. I don't think you could ever get the vast majority of the "unwashed masses" to do anything that would be deemed remotely selfless, and that's probably the world's biggest tragedy. I'm hoping against all odds things will turn around soon and all of us will be able to get back to some kind of new normal. Sorry to derail a sales thread just bored and thought I'd chime in. Wish I had a bigger stimulus check because I'd be your Huckleberry for that Venus #2, but it sure is nice to drool over
