  1. I believe you are correct: The Fantastic Four Golden Record Reprint (28-pages, full-color, standard comic format) was produced in 1966 and reprints Fantastic Four #1. Although the reprint, at first glance, looks like the original, there are differences. There is no cover price on the reprint, and the back cover, as well as the inside covers, promote the Golden Record LP series of which the Fantastic Four #1 is a part. The four Marvel Golden Record LPs came with a reprint comic, and each originally sold for $2.49 (record and and comic together).
  2. Welcome Matt! Lurk no more! I have a few nice Valiant books, mostly early Magnus, Solar and Rai. I just got back Solar #10 in 9.8 from CGC! Love the avatar!
  3. Agreed! Since we all graded the outer cover everyone‘s grade will have the same margin for error with CGC’s grade. I don’t think it will make any difference in the end. Let @BlowUpTheMoon decide to keep or throw out everyone’s grade for the issue if anyone gets stinky about it
  4. Welcome @Thejeweler & @smodcastfan to the best place for the “unvarnished” truth about all things related to comics. To quote the man...’Nuff Said!
  5. Two huge FF keys! Thanks for sharing Doc!
  6. @BlowUpTheMoon All grades are due by 10PM EDT on 3/10, but when will you share the actual grades and seedings?
  7. Beautiful! Show us more if they are like this copy. BTW - Tell us the story of how you stored the books over the years to keep them looking this nice. Your story Thanks for sharing the grade.
  8. I use the raw value of the book based on the current grade. You can get raw values at Comics Price Guide or latest Overstreet guide. Welcome to the Boards!
  9. Yep. I caught the DC looking at the large scan. Were we supposed to point it out in our submission?
  10. Karl - CCS TAT is posted on the CGC site. Also don't understand your comment...I’m over 50 bd and it cost like 60 buck per book...
  11. Fair enough. Revised to 9.2. Pressing out the dents would help
  12. 8.5 or 9.0 (pressed) IMO. The color breaking 1/2” crease (Pic 4) on BC outer edge makes it max 9.0 in my view. NCB bends takes it to 8.5. my
  13. No higher than 9.0 with the corner crease. Probably 8.5 when you add top edge wear. OW-W pages. Great looking SA book!
  14. As ironic as it sounds pressing a book like this will require humidification first Seriously though, I’m just saying it’s worth considering.
