In-House Private Signing: Bill Sienkiewicz
StillOnly25Cents replied to DarthChewie's topic in SigSeries Event Central
to add to this, is CGC considering providing their customers better public updates as to when these signings are actually taking place? I think most of us understand that dates are subject to change but it would be nice to have a place on this very forum where the most up to date info is kept on projected signing dates as I see the request for info countless times both here and on other social media it would be nice if I didn't need go to Facebook or Instagram or Twitter, platforms that I am not signed up on (but am being forced to use) to get a hint at some of this info and it would also be nice if we were afforded the same opportunities as those other platforms ex. when it was announced Sienkiewicz would be signing weeks ago, the request for questions to ask him was posted on your Facebook site but not that I saw on Twitter or definitely not here is this being considered? is this too much of an ask? -
"no explanation needed on this one" .... I beg to differ you listed it as #122 nice book, glwts

Any idea when the Jim Lee signing will be??
StillOnly25Cents replied to GAMBIT's topic in The Signature Room
does your submission say "received by CCS" or "received at CCS" if you are using CCS' services your submission will show "received at CCS" from the moment it is received by CGC so you can't use that as a barometer for when the signing will be completed CGC really needs to implement a better communication system as to when their in house signings are actually happening and completed I shouldn't have to rely on their social media postings to find hints at what may or may not be happening ..... ex. on Sept 9th CGC posted on Facebook that Bill Sienkiewicz was going to be signing that week and that they were looking for fan questions for him did he sign? 9 days later I have no idea, I never saw any follow up with posts of answers to any questions submitted .... sometimes CGC provides video clips afterwards sometimes they don't .... this same post that was done on their Facebook feed wasn't even present on their Twitter feed to think if they only had an online website where people already had to go to submit for these events or message board forum in which they could properly relay this information, oh wait -
CGC In House Signing Wishlist - Update for 2023
StillOnly25Cents replied to StillOnly25Cents's topic in The Signature Room
arghhhh, come on CGC if JRS is still willing and able to sign, please make this happen @Brittany M. -
DWill's post above is correct, they will not alter your submission for the signing now, I will preface my next statement with a phrase that you should always collect what you want and what makes you happy but I would definitely reconsider having an actor sign a key book such as SME #15 have you considered other options?

Silver age comics that are heating up
StillOnly25Cents replied to rabidwolf's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
the general public/casual collectors are not speculators if they buy they aren't going to do so until the see 6 villains on the big screen and again, people that believe SS is coming have already driven the book up ... nothing shown in the trailer added anything to further advance that spec maybe if the team was known as the Sinister 2 sales would be exploding -

why? people have been spec'ing on SS for a long time the trailer did nothing to solidify that or give new info to non collectors Doc Ock was the only SS member from that book shown, Green Goblin wasn't a SS member and the trailer only hinted at him -

you can keep an eye on CGC's social media sites as well for facilitators they work with if you don't wish to wait for an in house signing ex. Wed was the last day to submit to ClassiCollectibles who are facilitating a Crain signing at MegaCon .... not sure if they offered the infinity signature option or not

not a fan of the Fury karate chop cover ... I’d rather put my money in ST 167, her first cover appearance -
I am by no means a modern collector but I was made aware of this book yesterday and had to have it straight up (AR) fire
