  1. My first LCS was Heroes Aren’t Hard To Find.
  2. Uhhh what? You have books like Batman #1, TEC #27, Action #1, Superman #1, and you said AF #15 is a T3 book? Yes, it’s broken a huge sale of $3.6M in a CGC 9.4 but it doesn’t even come close to any of those books IMO. I’ll say it’s the “King of the Silver Age” if anything.
  3. I just can’t get over how those legs are drawn.
  4. Well, according to @G.A.tor, information regarding this sale will be revealed next month. The report by Key Collector Comics got both the book and price wrong. He can’t say anything because the new owner(s) would want to be the ones to break the news themselves. Link to the other thread:
  5. Interesting. Didn’t know it was blocked. It’s just the audio to “For The Love of Money” by The O’Jays.
  6. Here are the rules 1) I will consider offers but first trumps all. 2) I accept payment via PayPal. 3) Shipping is $8 for raw books and $15 for slabs within the U.S territories only, and $20 to Canada. International buyers, please inquire about shipping. 4) No probation or HOS boardies allowed. No returns on CGC graded books. 14 day returns on raw books. $500
  7. What would it take to become your son? Asking for a friend.
  8. I wonder how people found out you can eat puffer fish considering it's pretty poisonous when prepared wrong. Did people just keep on trying death after death until it just worked?
  9. You’ve said that to me before, and so have a lot of other people. I remember watching a video from LeeKirbyDitkoComics and thinking “if he can get those kinds of books, so can I” and that’s where it all kinda started in terms of going after big books and key issues.
  10. Does this price increase also come with the added bonus of increasing turn around time’s from 8-10 months to 3-4 years?
  11. I was 16 when I started collecting and that was 2017. JIM #83 and AF #15 were expensive books, but they were NOT what they are now. Especially X-Men #1, you could’ve gotten a 1.0 for at least $5000 or less depending on who was selling it. But I have to agree that taking a step back and appreciating the accomplishments and goals you set for yourself in this hobby is important. The books that I have, I don’t take for granted whatsoever since it’s tough to find them for a reasonable price in today’s market. I mean.. hell, sometimes I think it’s crazy I own some of the books I have now, especially at my age.
  12. When it comes to Bob Kane, it’s one of those hit or miss situations. His work is pretty hard to judge since not all of it is actually his.
  13. I’m gonna be completely upfront. I don’t think anyone is gonna give you an Amazing Fantasy #15 in exchange for a Hulk #181.
