  1. Huge W by this comic shop owner. https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2022/02/01/maus-banned-higgins-comics-conspiracy/
  2. Isn’t it ironic that kids have to do school shooter drills 5x a year but little Timmy’s feelings will be harmed if god forbid he picked up “To Kill A Mockingbird” when he’s 14 years old.
  3. I remember when I had to read “To Kill a Mockingbird” in high school, 9th grade to be exact. Spoiler alert, there was a lot of upset parents.
  4. All I’m saying is I don’t see the market slowing down as there’s gonna be plenty of room for growth in this hobby. Yes, I know everything is going to fluctuate, all books do that. My point being is that as long as there’s movies or TV shows related to comic books constantly happening, we can expect a lot of newcomers to pour money into this hobby.
  5. Oh yeah, no doubt about it. I can already imagine the absurd prices mutant books would hit if Marvel Studios releases some official announcement regarding the X-Men.
  6. You know.. the market is crazy. All I gotta say is that when it comes to a collector’s decision to invest or collect, there’s something to be learned from it. I personally don’t see the market cooling down anytime soon. Right now it’s difficult to acquire the books that some people have already acquired. To me it just seems like there’s this huge mountain that newer collectors need to climb in order to get a Hulk #181 nowadays. I would’ve said the same thing you’re saying 4 years ago when I got into this hobby. But 4 years later, everything’s even more money. I promise you we’re gonna look the market again from this point on only for it to be even more money in a couple of years. Overall I don’t see this hobby getting weak for any reason and all I see is growth as there’s so many avenues people can use to get into comic collecting.
  7. That’s what I like about his content. It’s super informative and can be geared towards any type of collector.
