  1. It was purchased right off the newsstands by a 13-year-old back in 1938. I don’t think any other books were found with it since this isn’t a pedigree.
  2. Very nice! I never get tired of seeing early ASM books.
  3. That’s what I meant to refer to. Besides the anonymity part on the buyers end, we literally got no details regarding a sales price. But as you said, we at least have a price that this Action #1 supposedly sold for.

  5. The 2022 January 13 - 14 Comics & Comic Art Signature Auction on Heritage is absolutely stacked!
  6. Oh yes. Definitely “record breaking” when the buyer wants to remain anonymous.
  7. Yes and it’s been estimated to grade around a 9.4 or so.
  8. I saw the updated note. If this is true and a copy of Action #1 did sell for that amount, I can’t help but wonder if details about the transaction will emerge soon. It can’t be a record breaking sale when it’s unverified.
  9. I thought it was interesting. Though I didn’t believe it since I doubt the Edgar Church copy would go for $4.5M. That seems way too low. If it were to get graded, wouldn’t it be a 9.4? I’m sure it would be the highest graded copy.
  10. Supposedly it was let go for $4.5M in a private sale according to Key Collector Comics.
  11. I couldn’t agree more. All you could do was because it was just that good of a movie!
  12. Honestly, I wouldn’t say he’s filler at all. He’s become a more mainstream character due to Into the Spider-Verse and him having his own game. He isn’t overshadowed by Peter Parker anymore, so I can confidently say he’s his own Spider-Man.
  13. Deadpool Harley Quinn Miles Morales Gambit Azrael
  14. It exceeded that and sold for $250k in the Comic Connect auction today.
