  1. I haven’t read anything about what will happen with the ‘Not First Prints’. I’m guessing Bad Idea will become an imprint of another larger comic book company, who will take over printing and distribution. Hopefully any agreement will include the continuation of some of the more innovative ideas like NFPs, one per customer and cover price for 30 days.
  2. The books have all been fantastic IMO. The marketing, while probably a bit of a hassle for retailers, has been fun for a lot of comic book fans. The statement “Bad Idea as we know it must end” is obviously a hint at coming changes rather the end of the company.
  3. That is helpful, thanks. It looks like I’m ok for now, as it shows 0 items with specifics ‘required soon’. What I would like to know, is what specifics are required for comics, with the hope that at least ‘Age’ and ‘Condition’ (using comic book grading scale, not ‘New’, ‘Used’, etc.) are required, which would eliminate some of the search hassles people are having with saved searches.
  4. I agree! All of these logo branded Whitman bags give me a similar feeling. Bombastic bright colors in the Marvel way!
  5. I got this message today. I haven't yet figured out which specifics will be required and which will be recommended. When I click the list of collectibles effected, I can't find comic books, but it's a long list - not in alphabetical order - so I may have missed it.
  6. Hi, I sold that Marvel Feature book. Yes, I purchased it directly from Metropolis as a 9.6. I lowered the grade (lost money by doing so) when I sold it due to the cover transparency, though I’ve seen the same issue on many copies of this book.
  7. I believe you can still do this under buyer requirements.
  8. My LCS is listing them (as a package deal) at 12:01am and the first ten buyers get the sticker.
  9. Here is an item I had listed before and after the change: They kept the Age and the other minimal item specifics I originally included. I didn’t have to update anything from a selling standpoint. When I click on the pencil to edit item specifics, it gives me an incredible array of options (age, grade, artist, writer, character, universe, cover artist and on and on), including the 10 point grading scale we all know and love. It didn’t force me to choose one of the “book grades”, even though it does have the “additional specifics are required” alert showing.
  10. Thanks for taking the time to grade my TOD 10. Thumb crease center right front cover. Tear on back cover goes from center left side edge to the word 'go', in the line, "go with success".
  11. That is very cool! Never seen one before thanks for posting!
  12. This is great info, thanks! Looks like I have the first printing, tan back sheet, as the numbers match your first print numbers. mine doesn’t have as much space around the edges as yours, but it does have the “Bug Off” quote for Spidey.
