Space Western 44 and 45 have to be two of the weirdest comics ever made. Cowboys fight Hitler in space.
My favorite Don Heck cover on the WT 9.
You're putting together quite the cool horror collection

Always a favorite of mine

Big kudos to Metropolis Comics(metropolisent) for some great comics at the Big Apple show!! Vincent and Frank were very helpful, friendly and willing to negotiate on price. Half the fun is in the haggle, I always say!! The 2 TTA's I've posted elsewhere, but feel like posting again. Here they are:
Some sweet books that look in my set!!! Thanks guys!!

Scooping up some primo Golden goodies of late

Thanks Bill!! I can thank/blame Pym for this!! "Join the #59-101 set", he says never suspecting that my competitive nature would force me to keep buying ultra HG TTA's until the #1 spot was mine The TTA monkey is firmly on my back
Korvac, you know it all makes so much sense.
It's a great set, and it looks like your pulling together one of the more premier runs together!
Though it's mindful to know, doing some quick sums, I think Doug tops out at about 25,000 points for his mostly PC run of 59-101. The rest of the mere mortals are squabbling around the half way mark of that total. Scary thought.
Though I did chuckle when he put his TTA #50 9.8 up in his general sale area a little while back. I think he put an asking price of $8,000 on it.
Now I not sure what noxious plants grow in Florida, but that day I reckon dougy boy had been smoking a good amount of them.
Yes BE, Doug's books would clobber anyone's should he decide to enter them in the #59-101 or the #27,#35-101 sets. That would force me into a life of crime so I could buy all of Doug's books

It'd be a lot cooler if they were White Mountains
Jim
But then you'd be bugging me to sell 'em to you

Yes, a full run of TTA's and Strange Tales in 9.4 or better. If you look in the registry you can see my sets. Wish I could provide a link, but I'm not link savy.

Just bought these 3 from Metro at the Big Apple Con:
-
7 foot tall gila monster shooting lazers out of his eyes and wearing a weightlifting belt and a six shooter.
Didn't Capt. Kirk fight him once in Star Trek???...
Gorn.
I loved the Gorn too. Remember how the Mego Lizard and Gorn dolls had the same heads, just different colors?

I'm hoping to pick up some nice TTA's today so
-
Not me!! $1201? That's about $800 more than I spent just a few months ago for my non-ped #82 9.6
-
Ya mean ants don't make honey? Stan's imagination was never in question, but his scientific knowledge at times was quite suspect Congrats on a nice key book
-
My two recent pick up - Thanks Rosland
Can't wait to receive those two !
White pages too
-
Holy chit, that's a fine funnybook
-
Some very sharp copies
-
Well, it's not a 9.8 Marvel so I almost hate sullying this thread with it.
Wow, that hitman is a remarkably talented and artistic shooter!! To think he wasted all that talent on a life of crime!!

Great Books Mike

Thanks piper If he hadn't given me this and a bunch of other books while sharing his love of the hobby with me, who knows what my involvement would be with the hobby today? Its always a real thrill to upgrade these copies that sparked my imagination and "sense of wonder"(Thanks Bill Schelly!!) those many years ago I can always buy some HG new book for my collection, but I can't replace these original treasures.
