Here's my recent upgrade to a slightly nicer copy:

One more midgrade POS in today.
either i have seen this book here before, or there is a run on Ingles Startling purchases around here.
either way, it's a welcome sight. nice book
Wasn't there a copy in a Heritage auction within the last 2 years? Great book BTW!!!!

I haven't bought a book in a long time. I just graduated from college and don't have a job yet. I probably shouldn't have, but I did it anyways.
A celebratory comic Not wise, but FUN

Thanks brasseye

Never looked at this cover up close and had always assumed it to be an Everett cover. Everett's inks put a very unique look to Kirby's pencils. Perhaps Everett redrew the Hulk's face to more closely match the interior art?
My 12c
Dennis
That's an interesting observation on Everett's contribution to the cover. I think its quite possible that he redrew part or all of the Hulk's face. It certainly doesn't look like a Kirby Hulk IMHO.

Love that #103 You rarely see that book in anything like HG. To echo Bob's question, from Heritage?
Yes. It's from the Heritage auction. I thought that I had also won the #98 and 106, but got beat out on the floor auction. I'm collecting mostly Golden Age books now, but I have a soft spot for Thor. Love the cover of that 153. And, you're right, Bob. There was some great stories during this time period.

Thanks for clearing that up Rick Be happy you won that great book from Heritage: I thought I won 3 books only to lose them all to the floor

That #150 is amazing Bob

Thanks brasseye!! I'm like a comic collecting black hole: when a book gets too close to me its history My collossal comic lust combined with my reckless spending create such an enormous pull that even light itself cannot escape!!!!!! That and I logged onto www.pedigreecomics.com and made some offers

Will we see some Pre-Nick Fury Mass. Strange Tales this year ?

Does he have some Mass ST's or is that just wishful thinking?

Thanks Arex! I've been looking for a 9.0 to 9.2 copy for awhile with nice PQ and QP that didn't break the bank This one fit the bill nicely

Just picked this one up:
Some tanning on the right edge keeps it out of a 9.2 IMHO. Happy to have it
