  4. 1953 was a very good year for Leah Bodine Drake whose macabre talents for writing poetry flourished in the September 53 issue of Weird Tales.

  6. I was all over the board on Prize Comics #8, and had it at 5.5, but 2 books were off by one and 2 bullseyes on the other two books for 5 points

  8. A few acquisitions from last weekend at the LCS Amazing Stories (DEC 1939) Amazing Stories (FEB 1941)
  9. I added two issues of Amazing Stories. I have a few latter ones in the digest format but none earlier than 1950 until now. First up the December 1939 issue with a cover by Julian Krupa, and the hidden gem inside in the "Hok Goes to Atlantis" yarn by Wellman. Next is the February 1941 issue, where the back cover rivals the front cover.
