Why was that book only a 6.0 ?
I honestly don't recall. I think I sold it about 10 years ago. It presented so much nicer than the asigned grade, which is why I wish I still had it

Weirdness...
Has anyone had this happen to them.
I was tracking a book to see where the auction ended (since CLINK doesnt report to GPA I keep offline notes on completed sales/auction prices).
There was a Brick Bradford #6 CGC 4.0 in the October auction, my last note had a high bid at $771 during the auction.
I just went back to see where it ended (since I saw in my notes I hadnt listed the final price) and its no longer in my submitted bids (I do the same thing as you guys, submit a bid to act as a "bid tracker" since there is no way to follow a book otherwise)I do a search on CLINK since completed auctions stay on their pages for a few months while they are "Sales Pending" and it's not coming up either.
Anyone have something like this happen? Does it happen when a book gets pulled from auction? And why would it get pulled since it had valid bids that were within market range?
It ended at $771

Did anything ever happen with this book mate? If not, I'm interested. (PS sorry for re-opening a 6yr old thread lol, just trying my luck)
Just heard from the seller. The book was sold a long time ago

@TheWatcher noticed this and its happening to me as well....did you guys get any email notifications about the tracking Bids you placed in this auction ? He & I have not - we are only getting the Outbid notification emails.
Typically you get an email confirming your Bid as well as an email when you have been outbid and one if you win the lot.
Anyone else not getting their Bid email notifications?

I just heard back from CLink CS and it appears that they decided to stop sending out bid confirmation emails. Would've been nice if they let us know that beforehand, but there you have it

This might be old but I’m not sure
Old story. There's a thread about it somewhere. The guy trying to raise the funds came on here and talked about the project

Well, I'm on a roll here. More of my fav title.
Hard to believe, but this one and the #77 are third highest grades at 8.0.
Kirby classics.
Highest graded copy at only 8.5! Probably had a low sales total. A rather drab and somewhat campy Kirby cover.
This guy can sure hold his breathe, not to mention a high tolerance to cold.
Sorry guys, I cannot seem to delete the extra images., so, will move on to ST # 99 Bethlehem copy and highest grade.
Got this from one of out boardies who sold out a few years ago. Much appreciated, Bill for this beautiful copy.
Holy cow! Those copies are amazing

Why accept the 10 percent? until cc,cl,hakes or auction houses adds taxes, bidders will move over there unless it's a "rare" item. all the item's I've won from them have always been 10 percent less than my max
CLink is starting to add sales tax in certain states. See paragraph #16

Ouch for Illinois Residents. Comiclink will now, October 2018, start to collect state sales tax on purchases. I just called to get the details. It is in play on the Exchange and going forward on future auctions, after the current Focused auction. It will probably be global as it's now a state law. Ebay
Tack on another 10.25% for Illinois residents

Seriously considering checking this one out. If nothing else I’ll get to visit one of my favorite cities.
I want to see which dealers set up at the show. If some of the national ones attend, it may be worth it to check it out
