Thursday is just like any other night, just with shorter hours.
This. The whole point of going on preview night is to get first crack at dealers' inventory that hasn't been picked through by other dealers or sharks like greggy

Momoa, Baccarin, and a couple of others cancelled

Details: Friday Aug 23 8 PM at Blu Fish Sushi Bistro in Park Ridge. It's a few minutes from the convention center, and very easy to get to. Here's the address to input into your GPS device:
Blu Fish Sushi Bistro
130 N Northwest Hwy.
Park Ridge, IL 60068
(847) 720-4479
It's located in a small strip mall right near a Lenscrafters, so it shouldn't be too difficult to locate
Their sushi is excellent. A group of us local collectors meet there for dinner every month and always have a great time. If you have any questions about pricing, click on the "Menu" tab on the link I posted and it'll give you a pretty good idea what to expect.
Hope to see everyone there
**The group will be seated in an area called "the lounge". If you enter the restaurant from the street, it's immediately to your right. If you enter from the parking lot, it's at the opposite end of the restaurant and to the left. Tell the person working the front of the house that you're there for "the group in the lounge". They'll know what you mean**

Was it 2007 or 2008?
'08 was the first year for the Greektown dinner. The '09 dinner took place a month after Nik passed

I was there too and I spilled some water on the table and tripped on the decrepit streets unfortunately missing Roy.
The Greektown dinner that year was legendary for a few reasons, one was you face-planting yourself on a Chicago sidewalk

Wow, I just found out about this. Actually, I was not aware of such awards. Very cool. Is there a list of the winners somewhere on this site? Thanks, bc and others for keeping this thread alive!

Here are the other contents of the box. Very excited to add all these to the collection, but I will be washing some dishes, collecting aluminum cans, and considering the Seinfeld trip up to Michigan with a box truck full of bottles to return... Many thanks to the boardie who was kind enough to sell these to me, I will let him out himself if he would like!! (Sorry if the image is rotated, damn iPhones...)

They could ask the remodeling contractor set up at the show to take care of it
