I did use the earlier 10% eBay Bucks promotion. I also got the new one with the $25 minimum (8% otherwise) but don't plan on using it.

I picked up a very low grade copy of Iron Man #1 years ago on eBay with several other Silver Age issues. This was before the first Iron Man movie. I'm sure I could never afford a copy now.

There was a targeted $15 off three purchases using the eBay app coupon last month that accidentally went to a lot of eBay users who weren't supposed to get it, myself included. I was able to call and get a personalized one-time $15 off coupon. I think there have also been a few targeted $10 off $50 or $15 off $75 coupons recently, none of which I received. And at least once this year I've been able to use a $3 off $3.01 coupon which may or may not have been targeted. I've read about site-wide eBay coupons for 10% or 15% but I've never seen one.

I got it on one of my accounts, too. I might snag something I've been eying for a while but I've been on a buying spree lately, so I may pass this one up.

My main goal for 2020 is to add Night Nurse #1 and #4 to my collection. Finding a copy of #4 shouldn't be too much trouble but I'm super cheap and even low-grade copies of #1 are often expensive. I'd also like to finish my original recipe Guardians of the Galaxy collection, which is missing Marvel Super-Heroes #18, among other early books featuring the group. Finding a cheap copy will also be a challenge.

It looks fantastic. Definitely somewhere around an 8.5, in my opinion.

I am so bad at grading. I would've given this a 5.0 at least. And the graded book looks way better than a 3.5 but what do I know...

I had one, too. I still have my old Jurassic Park toys, actually. They're not in great shape from being played with but they're somewhere in my house. I don't have a picture handy but a few months ago I picked up a 1994/1995 Toy Biz Invisible Woman action figure from the Marvel Action Hour line still on the card. For some reason I only had the clear "invisible" version when I was a kid. I got it for $10 at a video game convention. I can't decide if I should open it and pose it with my other Fantastic Four figures or leave it sealed on the card.

The 10% eBay bucks promotions are fine if they show up when I have a bunch of stuff I'm ready to pull the trigger on. I hate when they arrive just after I made a lot of purchases.

I got it, too. I wonder how eBay's algorithm for sending out these eBay Bucks promotions works. I've gotten three in the past month. This is the worst yet. 8% barely covers sales tax and 6% doesn't. Only once have I gotten an eBay Bucks promotion higher than 10% and I've been waiting and waiting for another. I also keep reading comments elsewhere saying eBay used to send out 30% off coupons. I'd love one of those.

After watching the trailer, I have almost no idea what this movie will be about.

So I've run into my first non-payer on eBay. They offered a decent price for an item I had listed as a BIN with Best Offer and I accepted on November 23rd. Then a day later they sent me a message through eBay asking what happened because the listing disappeared. I responded saying they won it. After another two days I sent an invoice through eBay. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday I waited until today to open an unpaid item case through eBay. If they don't pay or respond the only resolution is I can cancel the transaction without it affecting my seller rating, correct? The listing was one of the 50 free listings eBay offers every month, so I'm not out any money, just time.

Wow. That's fantastic. I've never heard of eBay doing anything like that. Congrats. There's also apparently a TENTENTEN code for 10% off $100 floating around but it's also targeted. Neither work for me.

I placed my first order with MCS three or four days ago. Filled in most of the holes in my Fantastic Four miniseries/limited series/one-shots collection and snagged something like 18 freebies. Now I just have to wait for them to arrive.

I called about the TRIPLETHRILL code not working and after several e-mails they sent me a personalized $15 off coupon. That was a few days ago. The 10% discount showed up out of the blue this morning without me doing anything.

eBay sent me a message and an e-mail with a personalized 10% discount coupon to make up for accidentally sending me the TRIPLETHRILL code that didn't work. It expires 12/1.

I've sold a few non-comic things on eBay over the past few months but what I have left isn't moving. It's mostly random stuff from my house. I suspect nobody wants it and paying sales tax doesn't factor into equation. As a buyer, sales tax hasn't made me reconsider many purchases because most of what I buy is relatively cheap. I do wish eBay would hand out heftier discounts or eBay Bucks promotions. A 10% discount or eBay Bucks offer barely covers tax, it's not saving a ton of money. I have a 10% discount right now and I doubt I'll use it because it's not worth it. But 20%? That would be worth it.

I just read the article and wondered if anyone was discussing it here. That's a lot of money for a funny book.

Has anyone had any luck using the eBay "TRIPLETHRILL" promo code for $15 off a $75 purchase? It's a targeted promotion but eBay sent an e-mail with the code to both my accounts. I tried using it yesterday but didn't read the fine print about it not applying to Best Offer transactions. I tried again today and can't get it to work on a $99 Buy It Now purchase with either of my accounts on my desktop or the mobile app. Also, I just got a 10% eBay bucks offer (mobile) or 5% otherwise but of course I just bought a handful of Christmas presents two days ago. eBay sure knows how to make its promotions as frustrating as possible.

I used to be a low grade Marvel SA generalist, now I'm a Fantastic Four fanatic trying to collect everything FF-related. I don't buy slabbed books and I don't dabble in speculation.
