It's a customer service enhancement, meant to decrease TATs. Soon, grades won't be included on slabs either. Less printing time for the labels, so you get your books back quicker. The holdup seems to be encapsulation. They could save a lot of time if they just stuck the label into the mylar and mailed the books back to you that way.

Agreed which is why most of my submissions are not fast tracked. (thumbs u Well, you just sit there and wait, bub. Some of have mess to do. I dont pay for fast track either. Not looking to get books in quickly just to turn them around when the market is hot. I try to have a shipment a month, so every month I have something coming in one of our favorite boxes (doesnt it make you smile and get all excited when one arrives ) Makes me smile more when they arrive on time. I'm just saying.

Don't kid yourself. Dice has been digging through so many $1 bins and coming up with gems, he hasn't had the time to even find the CGC site. The website hasn't been updated since 11/1, which was over two months ago. I talked to CGC last week and they said they were "a few days behind on those tiers." I asked how far and all I could get was "a few days." I was looking for something a little more accurate, so I thought I'd go around the block to get across the street.

Can anyone give an accurate update on the current turnaround times on Value Fast Track and Economy Fast Track?

So what's the deal with the regular series? There are no number 1's in 9.8.

Last week I acquired a large collection of mostly unread books from roughly 1975 through 2001. The first year or so is a little less in grade, but jumps into beautiful runs that look like they were just bought off the stands yesterday. The collection is very mutant heavy with very thorough runs of minis and long runs of mainstream titles. Just about everything with a Marvel mutant is represented. There are also runs such as Brave and Bold (75ish - 200), Teen Titans, Legion of Superheroes, Witchblade, Aliens, Predator, Blackhawk, Challengers of the Unknown, Kamandi, Star Trek titles, MCP, as well as full runs of Magnus, Rai and X-O from Valiant through the end of the Acclaim series. Even a run of Spawn from 1-150ish. Many many more titles are included. Remember, the quality on the majority of these books is incredible. I will be blowing through many of them in small lots or even in complete series and they will be priced to move. I'll get started listing these books around the weekend of the 5th. Santa CGC has just shipped a 9.6 Cheval Noir #1 and a 9.8 Oribit #1 to my house.

And the grade is... 9.8 White

The condition on most of them is there, but unfortunately the number of titles isn't so broad. It is anything with a mutant from '75-'05. Also full runs of like daredevil, LOSH, B&B, and a few other oddballs I can't think of off the top if my head. No stuff like Spidey, Avengers, FF, Hulk, etc.
