  1. I'm not taking sides here or anything but let's say someone on the boards sells another board member a book as a raw 9.0 for $500. 4 years later, the buyer sends the book to CGC and is given the grade of 9.6 and the buyer sells the slabbed book for $2000. Does the original buyer owe the original seller $1500 to make things right?
  2. I believe this is the first copy of this book I've ever owned.
  3. It's called a hickey. I doubt it would affect the grade much, though I can't answer that for sure.
  4. Even Wednesday and Thursday in some instances. They have also been working Saturdays. So, wouldn't that technically put them further behind? But Saturday isn't a business day. That's just silly. Only Tuesday and Humpday are business days. Wait...Humpday could technically be a holiday because it's called Humpday. Tuesday is the only "business day" of the week. Bloom...just like that, CGC is ahead of schedule.
  5. There are only two business days in a week, so by that logic CGC is actually on-time with all their tiers. Bloom...Just like that and they've managed to catch up.
  6. So 35 days for a 25 day sub. Good info. (thumbs u
  7. Anyone have an idea on how Magazines are doing?
  8. I'm sure all the Sanfords over in the junk swapping thread will keep that one guy from ever swapping junk again, so that doesn't appear to be the issue. The junk swapping all takes place in a single thread, so it's easy to monitor. The question is, should said deadbeat junk swapper be placed on the probation list to warn potential buyers and sellers, outside of the junk swapping thread, that they could be dealing with a deadbeat? PS. The poll sucks. It should be yes or no. I'm not sure why there's a need to get cute with the options. PPS. The poll still sucks.
  9. This thread has ripe butthurt, fresh for picking.
  10. HE DID!?!?! Might be funny now, but when word gets out that a Tec 27 and an Action 1 was found at a garage sale in woogie's backyard, woogie will have nightmares about not kicking down Chunks pile for a peak when Metro starts running their Million dollar comic search ad campaign. Probably on a perpetual ad rotation where he's bound to see it 100 times a day even when the TV is off. Hell now I have to watch freakin' HGTV until I see the episode so I can find out what Woogie got beat down over.
  11. So the moral of the story is that when it comes to comics, Woogie will knock Chunk out to get them, even if there's a television crew filming it. Suck it, Chunk.
  12. That's what I'm talkin' about. I knew you would dig it (thumbs u I've never seen a copy of that even close to that condition. It's insane.
  13. Line forms behind me chuckles. There's like a bidding war going on in my PM box. It's like a pack of dogs on a t-bone steak.
  14. Yeah, it's a sweet one, and where's the ubiquituous nasty bindery tear? It's there but it's tiny. Much less of one than I've ever seen on Dollar Comics before.
  15. I was stunned that I was in the right place at the right time. That never happens to me.
