  1. I give it a 9.0. Incidentally, this was the third comic book I ever bought. The bullpen as drawn by Perez in this one was my introduction to the Marvel creators.
  2. Why are hole punches not called interior trimming?
  3. There is a section of the forums called Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues where these kinds of questions are answered regularly. That said, yes most of those dimples should be pressable, though not completely undetectable afterwards.
  4. After further research I can find no evidence of a face to face meeting before Secret Wars II #7.
  5. Unfortunately real life stuff is keeping me away, but it sounds like it's going to be a blast! Wishing a great con to everyone involved!
  6. I could see a 9.6, especially if CGC considers that top corner a bindery tear.
  7. I agree with 9.0, but if you don't press out the non color breaking stuff I could possibly see 8.5 as is.
  8. The breaks above the staple don't appear to extend into the color like a normal spine tick.
  9. Cover detached at one staple will rarely go higher than 6.0 in a blue label. Cover detached at both staples rarely will go higher than 4.0 in a blue label.
  10. Something I've always wondered, which nobody talks about, is one of the differences between the FF and the Challengers that made them iconic. Their personalities match their powers. We all know that. However, not many people talk about how their powers/personalities correspond to the classical Greek elements of earth, air, fire and water. The FF ARE ELEMENTALS. Is there any documentation of THIS particular part of their invention? And whose idea was it? I'm pretty sure we can guess pretty accurately.
  11. As a collector I probably view over a thousand comics a week on ebay. Many of those views are only 1-3 seconds long. A great indicator of interest would be how much time a viewer spends looking over the pictures, but I doubt ebay could give that kind of feedback. I'll end up watching maybe 5-10 out of all those views. I wouldn't take views too seriously. There's a handful of books that never leave my watchlist, I just want to see if they sell (at those prices).
  12. Great watch! I don't think I've ever seen Julie Schwartz on video.
  13. As the duck said, if you want to maybe get a better offer than the local store but still not sell them off one by one, you're best bet is contacting one of the big auction houses/sellers. Mycomicshop, heritage auctions, comiclink, comicconnect are a few that come to mind.
