The circled lot mentioned “assorted comics” in addition to the main lot of modern Captain America miniseries. I actually looked at all the pictures and spied a Maximum Carnage Acclaim video game promotional comic.
I knew this was hard to find and jumped on the bin at $30.after press, graded at 9.4. Now these are becoming more desired with Carnage getting some exposure. $600 and climbing...can’t believe it.
I also nabbed a second copy later on eBay in a similar situation; paid $88 and it’ll be about a 9.2. Haven’t sent it out for grading yet. It came with other decent Venom books, so all good.
ive been looking for cheap copies of this book, I doubt I’ll see any more than my 2 now that it’s popularized.
I was hunting that promo book cheap back around the same time you were in 2017 or so.. Got one for I believe $16... they were roughly $20-30 at that time. Sold one back in August for $200

I don't understand your response. I thought you were saying there might be some 1/2 issues in those unopened polybags above. I was thinking No because you usually had to send in a coupon for the 1/2 issues (and others like their ACE books).
Are you saying Wizard would just send you 1/2 books without you sending in the coupons or shipping cost? Lucky you, who'd you sleep with?
Yes Wizard would voluntarily send me those 1/2's without having to mail anything in.. I subscribed from about issue 150 until the last issue when they went bankrupt.. unfortunately they never refunded me for the remainder of that year

Dumb and ebay go hand in hand

Ed Brubaker has no problem signing stacks of his comics as long as he gets to talk about himself.. stores pay these guys ahead of time, give gifts and treat them to dinner. so for the most part as long as you buy the one comic they're promoting they're game

Star Wars Blood Ties 1-4 heating up also. another $100 set

I have a question or two for you guys/gals:
If your listing only ships within the USA, are international users still able to view it? If so, are they able to purchase it in any way?
Also, how would you handle a question when the answer is concisely within both your item Title and Description?
Since the potential "buyer" is in China, I'm considering ignoring the message altogether. Bad form?
Yes users around the world will still be able to see your items even if you don't ship globally. If you have the Global Shipping Program button switched off you're going to get the question "How much is shipping to my country?" If it's on, the buyers will be able to see how much it will cost and decide to buy or not

About 10 years ago I paid $20 for a complete Frank Miller Daredevil (issues 158-191) lot in VF-NM range due to the seller putting the wrong price in the listing. He was upset but honored the sale.
even if it's a deal by $10 some sellers will not honor the sale because it's "undervalued"

Got a Lois Lane 70, about Fn/Vf, for $12 shipped in an auction last year. "Lois" was misspelled "Louis" in the auction title.
love those ..happens all the time... I remember buying super cheap Infinity "Gauntlet" 1-6 sets and Batman "And Robin" keys because of title misspellings

Put this up on Ebay today. 3 day auction. I've rarely done mail order commissions but between cancelled conventions and a world wide pandemic, this might be your opportunity.
I will be sharing proceeds from the sale with two of my regular and favorite charities--The Humane Society and The Semper Fi Fund.
Check it out...

I have never been yelled at by a comic creator - I have seen some of them get really grumpy. Adam Hughes threw a fit when I was in his line once. I saw Marv Wolfman get pretty agitated once. I got mad and threw a temper tantrum at Arthur Suydam one year (I think at WWCh). I asked him to sign my copy of Cholly & Flytrap #1 and he told me that I needed to spend $30 at his table for an autograph. I'm pretty sure my response was "Dude, it's Cholly and Flytrap, not Marvel Zombies." He said no money, no auto, so i looked him right in the eye and threw the book in the trash. @mschmidt fished it out and gave it back to me later. He just couldn't stand me pitching a perfectly good comic . . .
Why are these guys always so stuck up?

Marvel had Heroes Reborn and the Heroic Age
-
The middle one with Robin.. two full figures.. and it's a more sellable peice
- UnMort and Ken Aldred

For reference I sold a full run of about 150 issues locally for $60... they're really not worth listing online because they weigh so much especially cumulatively .. it's going to cost a lot to ship and it'll just take up space online.. so list it on Craiglsit or a local app
Ever yell at a comic creator?
