  1. The ratio is 80-90% miss 10-20% hits.. scoring is a numbers game. But if u go to every sale and cover all the bases within one weekend you can score. I know a guy who goes to about 4-5 garage sales a weekend. They might all be weak but out of the combined hundred plus comics they have together he might find a Marvel Spotlight 32 and it makes the drive worth it.
  2. I have two complete runs. I still think Elfquest is undervalued. Same with GI Joe, Transformers, Rom.. wait till all those 80s get the same love SW got
  3. Typically I'd say yes, but no one is buying so no.. I'd wait for another month or two
  4. Detective 574.. Bat's carrying Robin in his arms
  5. Typically not cheap. I’ve had this model twice before and not experienced this issue. I purchased it new “open box”. Maybe that was my mistake. Saving $35 but in the long haul not such a great deal. In the description the seller writes they “stand behind their product and are happy to assist if you experience an issue”. That wasn’t the case when I messaged them
  6. I like the Hidden Years, big deal back then like Spidey “Chapter One”. Neat stories if you couldn’t get your hands on the originals
  7. Yea. The issue is in the control box. I just need someone to walk me through troubleshooting. Do you know where to locate the thermostat? I couldn’t identify it
  8. I remember buying this off the shelf based on the cover. Not too many venomized covers back then
  9. My press' temperature increases as time decreases. Sometimes the temperature also decreases. The temperature should be constant throughout the session. For this example a typical setting I use is 160 degrees at 5 mins (300 secs). Notice how the temps jump as the time changes. Sometimes it gets as high as 200 degrees! Has anyone experienced this issue and successfully resolved it?
  10. GSX 1 .. anytime characters are charging it has that look
  11. #1 is from 1982. I believe it to be a 2nd print. I've yet to check the printings for the rest. #11 is missing. I think the original owner deiced the series was so good he doubled up after the first handful of issues. Or he wanted a "reading copy" and a collectible copy lol.
  12. Seriously they are. I agree about the printing as well. Sometimes I just find one to a few issues but not a run. I admire the original owner's taste
  13. The two direct editions are double covers of each other
  14. Two 2000s comics I bought off the shelves but were not newsstands
