  1. i remember this giant, it sold for a lot
  2. all my listings offer local pick up, and you can't mark it delivered. Maybe one per every 150-200 sold items get locally picked up. It's rare.
  3. I wonder how the used book store acquired them
  4. I always liked this cover in the TMcF ASM run
  5. I'm a risk taker so I welcome all local pick ups. it's much easier for me.. handing the item directly to the buyer thus saving time shipping and packaging materials. I'm all for it
  6. Classic keys for a $1? U can’t beat that awesome
  7. I always liked Deodato’s exaggerated Hulk covers. He does a great job
  8. The New Mutants 1-100 shortbox I got earlier this spring had mentioned they had it. But this was 2.5-3 hours away one way so I’m sure not many ppl saw the ad or wanted to drive that far. I also shared this week’s ad to another dealer friend and he didn’t even see the NM 98 until I also told him. $25 is so darn cheap
  9. Damn the Wolvie 66 newsie is BA. I remember when it came out. Bought a copy off the shelves cause I knew it’d be great!
  10. It was me who wasn’t in good spirits due to some personal stuff. That’s why I was up posting this at 3am. Lol. The seller was fine. There was 3 ‘guys’ in this story. I try my best to remove the parts that aren’t part of the story. But we’re all “guys” and “he” and “sellers” as well lol. So it can be hard to follow at times.
  11. Yup me too. I’m on that site several times a day. That’s why we just met up with him yesterday even though it was posted earlier in the week. He just had a care free attitude and the comics weren’t important. So it could’ve went to anyone not necessarily the 1st guy who contact him. Sorry about that. I kind of gave up too since I didn’t hear back from him. Some of the comics are rough since they weren’t bagged and boarded but all the comics will be for sale. There was only GI Joe 44 and Marvel Age 34.
  12. oh boy I'm in no rush to receive payments, I just don't act needy and then 2-3 days later buyers of best offers pay ... I sold a $500 item.. still waiting for it ;)
  13. tough loss for a Batman fan.. so many iconic seminal issues he penned
  14. I paid $20 for an entire full short box plus. Oddly I'm not the owner of these comics but it happened! Full story in the Post your Garage Sale finds thread. There was some other goodies I could've photographed but it wasn't easy going so fast
  15. I wish I was posting this in good spirits but earlier today (way earlier) out of dumb luck I called my neighbor. Earlier this week an ad had been posted walking distance from me. The seller never replied back to me but did to my neighbor who I called and mentioned he was meeting the seller of that collection. So I asked if I could come along with him. He picked me up and we drove 3 mins down to the local library. I had mentioned there was a New Mutants 98 in the ad (which is why I hoped the seller had contacted me lol). And he didn’t even see it was there! I paid $20 for the collection but since it was rightfully his he kept the books less the New Mutants 98 which we’re splitting the profits on after my pressing magic. The seller didn’t care for comics but did mention he had several “sentimental” SA he’s keeping like FF #4. After meeting he went directly on a walk with his wife to the park across the street. Goals. Here’s some quick highlights from the driveway
  16. Advanced D&D 1 1988 DC selling today after the trailer.. it's been undervalued for too long
  17. Yes, the postman signs it for me, that's a normal practice nowadays
  18. I can't share more because I'm following (stalking) this seller
  19. Someone scored a fantastic lot earlier this morning with lots of keys. I religiously follow this seller everyday hoping to score.. it was not to be :’)
