These are my thoughts as well.

I hope not, I would hate to see the hobby die out...

Also, if someone would make a robot body for my brain then I would be able to buy all the keys dirt cheap  I can't get now! lol

I think it is too hard to make a shipping prediction these days based on the shipping delays from COVID. UPS and FEDEX seem to be more reliable but if you shipped it USPS I would be prepared for delays.

I had a 19 book shipment via USPS registered mail that stopped updating after it left the USPS office in Sarasota. After 30 days it started moving again once I filed an insurance claim through USPS.

The best thing to do is keep tracking it daily and make an inquiry if it is overdue by more than a week.

    Thanks for the advice.

Seller immediately offered me a partial refund or a return.  I took the return... he just refunded me.  This is how the book was shipped out.

Apparently, I can keep it but seriously...

The book was $23.  Would it have killed him to put more than a single layer of cardboard on each side?   I don't blame the USPS at all on this.

Seller instantly made it right but said he has not ever had a problem before...

I refuse to believe that... I am not even that picky... I truly understand that NM means 9.2-9.4...

That sucks. I got a comic a couple of weeks ago where the seller just sent the comic in a shipping envelope. There was literally nothing in the envelope except the comic. It got a little damaged as a result. I got the comic on auction and I think they were pissed I got it for only 99 cents when it was worth at least $12.

Awesome thanks for the reply. How many days can I expect it to take to get to finalized shipping. And oh man it’s going to be so hard to not look at the grade until I get it lol  I do live in Florida so the shipping shouldn’t take too long

I'm going to try not to view my grades also...not too sure I'm going to make it though

Happy 1 month still on received anniversary to me. Though I feel lucky that it only took them 3 days to put it in received when I'm looking at some of these other posts who have had it be a week before it's put in received.

Ladies and gentlemen this is not a drill we have a scheduled for grading officially today.

    Modern submission

    shipped: 6/23

    received: 6/29

Received- 6/29 (today), pretty surprised it took this long since I sent it off last Tuesday (6/23). At this pace it will be over 25 business days before I get it back.

I think we can change the title of this thread to Seller's market because the past weekend has been killer.. overall we're seeing buyers purchase liberally like there's no tomorrow

I've found some GREAT deals on things since March (Nightwing collector).

So bored hitting refresh every 10 minutes to see if my Received status from 6/23 gets updated to SFG. Its a Modern, 8 books, slow boat. Tomorrow marks 20 business days. Got to be any minute...right?

I'm 6 days behind you...At this rate I'm not getting mine back until late September.

    Modern:
    In CGC's hands Mon 7/13
    Received: Mon 7/20

Looks like we are sitting at 1 week after delivery for at least modern subs to be put into the system.

The last one I sent it took them a day to actually put it in their system from the time it was delivered. This was on 6/29 (they acknowledged they had it), it still hasn't moved. Modern also.

I agree 100%. Not to derail this thread too much, but I recently received a message from an Ebay buyer that the $90 CGC book he had purchased was not delivered, even though USPS had marked it as being delivered. He finally got in touch with the USPS office (I tried to no avail) and they had shipped it to a different address than the one on the label. The buyer drove to the other address (about 1 mile away from where he lived) and confronted the home owner. They acknowledged that they received the book and had given it to a friend. He gave them an ultimatum and the book was in his hand a day later.

Wow guy knew the book belonged to someone else and instead of doing the right thing, handed it off to a friend. People never seem to surprise me.

Jon Stewart. He was the Green Lantern, to me, as a kid.

I agree with this. The only reason I didn't vote for him was, I always thought the Question doesn't get the recognition he deserves, while Jon at least has the JL cartoon and was in it the entire run.
