  1. For all our sakes, I certainly hope the movie doesn't blow chunks. Yes, a good movie with sequel potential will drive sales raw and slabbed alike. So, ( as I crack my first beer of the evening) here's to Deadpool..... man we really need the beer mug toasting smilie Crack one open for me as well. For the idea that Deadpool is the next Wolverine and New Mutants 98 is the next mega key to sink in, I think I need to be drunk.
  2. You're doing it again. Just ask him if he'd like to go out sometime, and get it over with. If by "go out" you mean "stand still so I can hit him with a sweatsock full of nickels" I'm all for it. Make it Sacagawea dollars and I'm in.
  3. For all our sakes, I certainly hope the movie doesn't blow chunks.
  4. The next Hulk 181? Really? With the Hulk 181 book you have, according to the latest census, 4170 books graded. Of that, 166 are 9.6 or better. Meaning 3.98% of the toal books graded are 9.6 or better. In regards to NM 98, there are 1339 books currently in the census. Of those, 855 are 9.6 or better. That makes 63.85% of the total books graded 9.6 or better. This recent sale will only drive more NM 98s to be graveled out of long boxes and graded. So, again I say, the next Hulk 181? Really?
  5. Please, no need to crack anything. There's plenty of raw ones laying about. (thumbs u
  6. It's better to be thought a fool than to open your wallet and remove all doubt.
  7. Sure. That's always been the intent... The PLOD for better or worse is a flag for those who aren't enamored with restored books. And rightly so in my opinion... Jim Good Lord, we agree.
  8. I can see why it would be beneficial to champion restored books in blue labels. The resale potential, or profit margin, for anyone with a collection of restored books would definitely increase.
  9. If I had it to do over again, I'd screw you over on the Batman 232. It was a 244 I never can remember those one time deals. I just know you were immensely satisfied. (thumbs u You never forgot the 101 deal. How could I? That was the only time I've been the catcher instead of the pitcher.

  12. This one just seems disturbing - I just keep imagining Harley Yee is under that table "doing stuff" to the guys. He wasn't. I think you are letting you own personal fantasies project themselves into the situation.
  13. Employee of the Month. Is there any way we can turn this into a Signature Series event?
  14. I would like to congratulate TupennyConan on this achievement as I know it was to the forefront of his mind during Wizard World NY. Congrats, Tupenny. Secondary kudos to Transplant. Many a time would I have found myself at a loss without his bravery and penmanship.
  15. Those were my two runners up. Okay, so I care a teeny tiny bit.
  16. Again. . If it isn't him, then I really don't care which whiny turd it turns out to be.
