A new Marvel Mystery, thanks to Bob Storms (Whataguy!)...

Out of curiosity, how much should an individual expect to fork over for nice GD copies of GS X-Men 1 and X-Men 94? Above guide (doesn't seem likely) or below guide (how much lower)?

nice book, piper ;please post the CGC 9.6 when you get it too
I would definitely like too see a 9.6 as well. For my personal collection, I prefer to buy VF's and keep the change.

Arrived today from our own Silver Surfer. Liberated it from its tomb and am loving it.
Very cool!

Nice books Nic! The Strange Adventures 205 looks too low grade for you. off your hands

(thumbs u Nice little set!!! What is the last book you need? Also what are all the books in this run?
Its a run I created after I bought a book from skypinkblu in March.
It consists of
Amz. Spideys 28-31
Avengers 19-22
DareDevil 9-10
Fantastic Fours 42-45
Journey Into Mystery 119-122
Tales To Astonish 71
X-Men 13-14
Background:
All published between August and December 1965,
Noted by the change in logo next to the price when Marvel briefly changed its name to Marvel Pop Art Productions This logo was used on most of their super-hero titles (excluding Strange Tales and Tales of Suspense and any others not on the above list) It is a cool set because in 1965 The Marvel Age was rolling and there is not a bad story in any of these books.
The last one I am missing is X-Men 13 (which is an early X-Men and 2nd Juggernaut, plus Human Torch guest stars)
Nice idea! Those are some good stories to read.

The Scorpion story in #29 isn't as good as #20, but I just love that cover.
Agreed. My copy is so ugly that I really need to get around to upgrading it. By far the single worst book in my collection! Yuck...

fair enough my friend, fair enough!
You just bought an AMAZ #1 CGC 1.0 right? If i might ask...what did you drop on that? Or is that hush, hush?

I'd hate to trade credit card bills with you
says the man who just bought an ASM 1....

I still think probation is probation. Just because someone comes through a year later shouldn't mean absolution. You should remain on it for a X amount of time after you make good. Not that anyone actually cares when money is being thrown at them.

Is anyone really tracking the folks on this thread?

Book 7 of 2008 arrived today
Its an ugly bugger but not that abundant...and the price was right.
Nicely done! My restored copy from Mr. Bedrock is one of my holy grails. Are you working on a set?

Kudos to jkrk for a very smooth and professional transaction. I'm loving the latest addition to my ASM collection. Thanks for the ASM 7!

My wife has just authorized my acquisition of the downstairs spare bedroom to use as my personal office (and comic room!). I'm getting my stuff put together now, but I'll have everything in order before the close of the week and will post pics when I'm done.
Needless to say, I was tearing into this project last night like a monkey on a cupcake!
Enjoy it while you can. If you decide to have children, the spare room quickly disappears...
I'm looking forward to seeing your OA on the wall!
