  1. This is a "retaliation post" directed towards Mr. Bedrock...AKA Richard Evans.

He refuses to pick a single book in my "which one would you choose?" thread, and always says "I'll take both!". I am posting here because I know he's a Timely guy, and I will upset his apple cart when he sees this, just as he has upset mine.

You looking for a new Timely to be posted Rich?.....well here you go. Oh...wait a minute....this isn't a Timely! This is the "Action 1 of Big Little Books", Mickey Mouse The Mail Pilot #731 rare variation, with only 2 known copies to exist.

Try sending this one to CGC Rich, you Marvel Mystery lovin', "which one would you choose?" thread cheater !!!!!

    Steve

Very cool book, Steve. Thanks for sharing (thumbs u

Oh, and thanks for thinking of me as you add a little culture to this low-rent Timely thread.

    BTW, Which would you choose....

    mm13.jpg

First S&K Vision. About $3000 by guide but very undergraded.

    or....

    usa6.jpg

First Cap in USA. Also about $3000 by guide.

    I know my answer!

    hm......................I'll take them both.

    I'll take the MM13!

  2. Picked this one up from CycleGirl.

(thumbs u Great Cover. I was never a big fan of that story. It somehow didn't fit well into the continuity.

It was kind of disjointed but needed. It was the end of Betty Brant and Pete's relationship.

Leaving the door wide open for that blonde bombshell (Not Millie the Model) Gwen Stacy who makes her first apperarance in the nesxt issue.

    Gwen :cloud9:

  3. :whatthe: Nice!

(I'm not envious of your Venus run, but I am envious that you have the floor space to set up that shot.) :(

    Jon,

Have you been to Houston? Everyone has 3,000 sqft homes with a three car garage, and an inground swimming pool. Smaller homes is the one draw back to living in the Big Apple. (shrug)

It's too bad your a Mets Fan, but it could always be worse, you could be a Yankees fan!

    John

  4. One of my two targets has been acquired- ASM 15 along with copies of ASM 8, 10, 12, 18, & 19! 8, 10, & 18 are probably somewhere in the Fair range, 15 & 18 somewhere around 1.5 - 2.0, and the 12 (Poor) was thrown in for free. Needless to say, a big advance in the progress of the collection.

I think you're going to finish your ASM run before I do! Many Congrats!! doh!

  5. Was thinking about this the other day. There must be tons of cool and interesting female characters scattered across the various companies and genres of the GA...some of the more unusual titles like Miss Fury, and also some of the esoteric backup features hidden away in 1940s or 50s titles. Could be covers, could be interior pages (...paging Scrooge). I'd love to see some!

Not so much looking for the bondage covers...those are neat too, but they are already well represented in other threads. Let's see some strong, smart, sexy, offbeat, or just plain weird female characters!

    Please.

    with revealing outfits?

  6. Oh, I have a feeling it might a little while before I pick that one up. Looked really, really nice-- around a solid VG, and a great price at only $150, but I'm still short this month. The 15 (again, a solid VG) was only sitting around $90, so I might aim for that first.

hm I have a F/G 13 that I need to upgrade. Would you be interested in a trade and cash scenario if you pick up the VG 13?
