  1. I’m glad they are reprinting these because this side of the hobby is new to me. Most of my singles are long gone and those that I still have are encased in plastic (CGC) and frankly worth too much to casually read. I just wish the Marvel Spines had a consistent look. I plan to get FFV2 to 4 and suspect they will have a different spine to my V1.
  2. It’s also a beast in terms of side. It would never fit in my tiny little office nook.
  3. True, but think I would have made more on buying some mid tier Marvel Keys instead.
  4. Perhaps you’ll be right this time? I’ve put money in DC keys before and been disappointed with the returns. Admittedly, I didn’t buy a Showcase 4. Maybe once I get a few more Marvel keys, I’ll pickup a BB28.
  5. They should move away from the direction taken in WW 1984 as quickly as possible.
  6. I spent more this year. As mentioned previously in this thread, I had a lot more disposable income since we didn’t travel, eat out, go to concerts or sporting events. I also had way too much idle computer time. I definitely missed all of the above and can’t wait to go to a Con again, but understand the appeal of online shopping now.
  7. It was unfortunately a letdown for me and my family especially after the first film. It felt tonally wrong. Was it trying to be an 80’s satire? The way they resolved things at the end of the film just felt off. The acting and Fx were solid. The screenplay was a hot mess. Aquaman was much better and I didn’t really like that film. Missed opportunity... 2/5 PS: In Canada, we were able to stream it on VOD for $30. I really regret the purchase.
  8. I got some Amazon gift cards so more Omnibus shopping to look forward too!
  9. It makes no sense to me either but perhaps they get a smidge more money out of the transaction?
  10. I felt the same way when I was putting my Vampirella run together!
  11. I own a slabbed copy but have never read it. As a kid, I couldn’t collect everything so stuck with the flagship title ASM.
  12. Their release strategy in Canada is making me think of doing something naughty...
  13. As many of you know, I bought a lot of Warren Mags this past year and in particular, just about anything with a Frazetta cover or Vampirella image. I think that I’ve scratched that itch pretty well. So what next? I was reading some Deadly Hands of Kung Fu and Vampire Tales on the Marvel Unlimited App. The stories were fun and the artwork solid. Are any of these Marvel Mags desired by collectors? Open to suggestions... PS: Happy Holidays!
  14. How did I miss this thread originally? I love this cover in particular!
