I'm seeing a lot of decent prices on Skottie Young art as of late. His Secret Wars Variant Cover #9 sold for $2101. I remember seeing that cover sale in Heritage a few months back for I think $3500+. Not sure why they decided to flip it right away.

Flipper All Day!!

I won this cover in the previous auction. I cancelled after I found out that the Banning inks we're done after publication. Commissioned inks over original pencils. I'm kind of surprised they didn't list that in the description this time around. It's a great cover. I just couldn't get past the inks weren't done pre-production.

Not sure if this has been posted before. I'm looking for an affordable (if there's such a thing) scanner for Original Comic Art. I've been buying high end pieces and wanted to start posting it on CAF. I was hoping to find something that scan up to 11x17. Any recommendations....

I did laugh off the price of ASM #300 when I first I saw it. But then again, is it really that crazy? If a Secret Wars page can pull in 3 million plus. Why can't this sale for 5 million?

Not naming names but someone bought a commission homage piece for $7500 (charity) a few months ago. Then, I see that same piece posted today for $30,000 by the same buyer. It's not even published...

Surprised it SOLD so quick. Love Finch's work. But that cover was way overpriced.

Yes...it was a Bagley Venom Cover....How Ironic Heritage ended up cancelling the order. Great cover but commission inks (nothing against the inker...well respected!) ruined it for me...

I'll put it this. While the piece in question has original pencils. The inks were added postproduction. The way I took it is the owner of the piece decided to take the original art. And have it commissioned by a famous inker. Now had they said that in the description. I would've probably passed. It's a great piece but not sure I can get passed the fact the commission inks were done over an original.

Has anyone cancelled on a winning piece? I won a cover today but now I question the description.

Not exactly Flip of the Day but I noticed this piece under sold. BATMAN CATWOMAN #6 COVER by Jim Lee. I'm trying to remember how much it was going for on Moy's site. Maybe between $25,000 - $30k.
