  1. The way I read it is that eBay will charge the buyer the sales tax for their state, collect the tax, and send it in to each state. I do not believe the seller will ever touch any of the tax revenue as eBay will handle all things sales tax. I have a resale license and am required to collect sales tax for any sales within my state. At this time, my state is not one of the ones on the list for eBay to collect so I must continue to collect and remit sales tax on all my in state sales. I'm sure eBay will earn interest off all the sales tax they collect on behalf of their sellers. Especially if they have to follow the same guidelines as I do and send payments in quarterly.
  2. eBay will collect and remit sales tax for the impacted states. The seller need not do anything different from their current routine. Sellers are still responsible for collecting & remitting tax for sales within their own state.
  3. I've shared this one before but never could figure out if it was published or not. It is Huckleberry Fink and friend from Sick magazine by Joe Simon.
  4. Some sellers were offered the opportunity to opt into their new payment system which excludes PayPal. I suppose this is eBay's way of testing their upcoming switch to handling credit cards directly through eBay and/or their switch to Adyen in the upcoming years. I chose not to opt in as it would limit the potential pool of buyers who use PayPal exclusively. They have since stated that PayPal will be included in future versions of their payment system.
  5. I have a few in the same condition. Is there a standard O-Ring size that is used for this?
  6. I picked these up locally from a retired toy dealer a few months back. The cards/bubbles are a little rough but still a fun find.
  7. I picked up a small collection of mostly remainders/returns missing the top portion of the cover and a few coverless books and could use some help identifying a few issues. The books are as follows:
  8. I purchased a plastic tub full of Archie's at a local auction. While searching through them at home, a small baggie w/ what I assume was coke residue fell out of one of them. I'm sure that would have been easy to explain had I been pulled over.
  9. I've commented to them twice now about the rubber bands. They have yet to respond to my request to stop using them on my orders. Additionally, my last two monthly shipments have contained more damaged books than I have received over the past 2 years.
  10. @Robot ManSmall local antique/junk auction house. It usually consists of consignments and estate items. No telling what will show up. Typically a bunch of furniture, glass, housewares, and "collectors" items. Occasionally comics make it in the mix. I strike out more times than not.
  11. @Robot ManSeveral DC Romance comics were in the lot and these (I have not taken the time to scan).
  12. I picked up a pile of comics from a local auction for $22. This was in the pile.
  13. Looks like it is $149.99 again through Staples. Also, I'm showing a 10% off coupon for online orders with local store pick up. HP OfficeJet Pro 7740
  14. Thanks for the contest. It was interesting again this year.
  15. I purchased an attic full of toys recently and stumbled upon this.
  16. Any update from the insurance company/adjuster?
  17. Retailmenot has a 15% off coupon available for orders of $40. Additionally, free shipping for orders of $25. I picked up a few as a result.
  18. I stopped by my local 5 Below yesterday and they had about 15 of them...all Captain Britain.
