  1. Dogs and Zombies (including some books from @paperheart - thanks!), and a couple of slabs including ASM 252 from @Mike22 - thank you too!
  2. I have a couple of the original Venom 3-packs where the King Thor was rumored to pop up, as well as a Strange Academy 1 3-pack, all still sealed. I'm tempted to crack them open and see what's in there (and get the Strange Academy in a bag/board), but I also think about how cool these could be to have sealed down the road. I'm torn...
  3. Such an underrated book. It's the first time the word/idea of "symbiotes" is mentioned too. This should be up there with the other Venom keys considering the story and especially the last page:
  4. Probably would have looked nicer on a key book... Obviously I kid! Great book, and I think the label looks nice, and it's great that they're supporting this cause.
  5. Sorry to hear about your hiatus, but welcome back! And thanks for the great article, it really helped me understand what I had found, and it's one of the few - and the most complete - histories of the book that I found anywhere online.
  6. I still have sealed copies of the Dark Tower and Killing Joke Deluxe hardcovers sitting here - just never got around to cracking them open...
  7. I'm just happy I got in cheap for once on the UFF issues. I'm kicking myself for passing on a cheap Marvel Zombies run a couple of months ago. Can't win 'em all I guess.
  8. Were you at the MightyCon at State Fair Saturday? I'm bummed that I have to miss the New Berlin show, I have other plans I can't get out of.
  9. Just wanted to publicly say thanks to Mike for a great sale and for working with me on a strange payment issue that I had - he was patient, worked out a great deal and was helpful every step of the way. His packing and shipping were of the highest level too - thank you Mike!
  10. My low-to-mid-grade entry in the club - love this book. First thing I did was transfer it to a mylar and fullback; everything looks better in mylar.
  11. Thank you sir! Always happy to buy from you - had such a great experience last time. Good luck with the sale!
  12. I didn't want to share it earlier because I hadn't gotten a shipping notice yet, but now I did - I was browsing eBay on Thursday night (before the Friday Disney+ announcements), and I wanted to see what UFF 22 was going for. Right place, right time - a new listing popped up while I was looking. Seller listed UFF 21-23 and 30-32 for $25 BIN plus $6 shipping. Looked great in the pics; fingers crossed. I hit BIN and made payment as fast as I could. I was shocked - UFF 22 alone was going for that much or more at that time.
  13. Ran into a situation I actually haven't had before as a buyer, and I'm interested to hear what you all would do. I bought an item (CGC slabbed book) on Nov. 4 at 2:05 pm Central time. It was a best offer situation - I offered, they countered, I accepted. I paid immediately as I do 99% of the time (only time I don't is if I'm in the middle of something else and need to win a book - then I pay asap, usually within an hour or two). I got a shipping notice on Nov. 6. Since then, it's been at "Shipping label created, USPS awaits item." I contacted the seller yesterday (Nov. 12) at 11:55 am with just a simple message asking for an update since it still shows that USPS hasn't received it for shipping. I've gotten zero response. The seller has 500 feedback and 100% rating, so I'm a bit surprised. Would you wait and contact them again on Monday/Tuesday? Or should I skip the second contact since I haven't heard from them? I think from what I could find on eBay, I have 30 days from the shipping notice to request a refund or file a complaint - correct? Thanks.
  14. Got this at the Milwaukee Comic-con today in a 2-for-$30 deal with All-New Wolverine #1. It's lower grade, but I didn't have it and it looks awesome in the mylar, especially for $15.
