  19. Ok, let's stick with the 10% off all books ($1 off anything $10 and under) prior to this post. Here's some new stuff:
  20. It's nice symmetry that it's a 20 cent book, in a 2.0, with a 20 on the back.
  21. That's a comic with character! It really does look like a poster, like it was designed to look worn. Love it!
  22. Give me your tired, your poor (or fair, or good), your spine-ticked issues yearning to breathe free... what's the lowest-graded CGC book in your personal collection? Bonus points if there's an interesting story behind it. Mine is my copy of Detective 94 in a CGC 2.5. No big story here unfortunately, but I always wanted a "double-digit" 'Tec comic, so I jumped at the chance to buy this one a couple of years ago at a price that fit my budget. It's my only graded Golden Age book:
  23. Sorry, forgot to quote your post, @ADAMANTIUM - I actually really liked a lot of the Batman Rebirth run, even though the whole wedding thing was a big letdown. A party for the issue sounds crazy! That'd be pretty fun... No huge story on these - popped into an LCS on the way home from work and they had 25% off back issues. Got the 2 newsstands above and this (non-newsstand, but a nice and usually somewhat pricey variant) below for $16 total for all 3 books:
  24. Thanks! Can you tell me why it isn't really an underground? Is it because it was published in '86 after the movement was moving mainstream? I'm always looking to learn more - thanks!
