  1. No, they still hold ok value regardless - it's just that this book in a 9.8 would be even more valuable. Super Mario 1 for instance is currently about $300-$350 in a 9.2-9.4, and a 9.8 just sold the other day for $2,500. The Zelda and Mario books do better than the Captain N and Game Boy books.
  2. I just had a conversation with my wife the other day (who tolerates my collecting but has zero interest in any of it) - we got on the subject of what we'd do if the other died, in that kind of morbid way that couples who've been together for a couple of decades talk about stuff. She said, "I'll finally be able to clean out the basement, it'll take a UHaul to get it to Goodwill." And I had to get serious and tell her to absolutely not do that - I said I understand that she doesn't care about the books and toys, but that there's way too much value there to dump it at Goodwill. So I had to give her explicit instructions on what to do and who to call about my collection on the unfortunate occasion of my passing...
  3. New Glarus, Central Waters, Eagle Park, Three Sheeps, Lakefront... no question, Wisco is better! But @PunisherPunisherPunisher may want to throw Fosters in the mix - I heard that's the Aussies' favorite beer, right?
  4. I think about that all the time. I still find great deals even on eBay (gotta hunt and be patient, but still). In that case, it's like - you're right there! You're selling it right on eBay, even if you know zero about comics, how long can it take to plug some titles and numbers into the search bar to see what you have? Thank God for the apathy of others, I hope it never changes.
