  1. Went out digging at some LCSs today; usually I run across tons of newsstands, but today I didn't see many. Wonder if they're being snapped up, or if it was just the stuff I was looking at. Anyway, only ended up with this one:
  2. Picked this one up today for a measly $3. This issue used to be in the box of comics that were at my grandpa's house, but a remaindered copy missing half the cover - and by the last time I remember seeing it, it probably didn't have even that any more. I remember reading this issue often as a kid, pretty much any time we stayed at their house. I do have some of his old books, but not sure what ever happened to this one. Happy to have a copy in the collection now.
  3. Spent the morning digging in boxes at a couple of shops, came away with a super random haul. Fun way to spend my last day of holiday vacation before reality comes crashing back next week.
  4. I haven't seen that, but it's been a couple/few weeks since I made an offer on anything. For me, that wouldn't be an issue though, it'd save me a step of having to login and pay. But I get how it could be annoying to some.
  5. I bought a lot of small lots and did a lot of LCS/Show hunting this year, finding a lot of great deals. But my 3 "big" purchases this year were Neal Adams Bat books I've been wanting for awhile: Honorable mentions in my lot buys include: Batgirl Adventures 1, Batman 655 Variant, Batman: Mad Love and Batman 635 for about $7 each. One other honorable mention: Werewolf By Night 32, a remaindered copy that I got in a box of free comic books from a second-hand store owner who just wanted them gone from her shop (I didn't know the WWBN was in there until I got home - it was mostly remaindered copies of Marvel Tales on top. The box also included a remaindered copy of WWBN 1):
  6. I've gotten a few good deals - best was a "What if Venom Possessed Deadpool" that I got for $15 because people either weren't paying attention or it didn't really fit in with the rest of what the seller was selling; they threw it up randomly during what was touted as an X-men Stream. In general, I just go on there sometimes if I'm bored or to try to win some giveaways - I won a Sinnot signed Fantastic Four on there as well. Overall I see a lot of stuff that goes for too high of prices compared to other venues, or a I see a lot of flavor of the month variants.
  7. - 1 of each where multiples are available.
  8. There are a few shopping sites online that have/had listings for it, but all say "Out of Stock" and it's unclear whether they ever actually had stock - it's more likely they generated a page based on previews but never actually got stock to sell. Westfield has an "add to cart" button, but it won't actually let you add one to a cart: https://westfieldcomics.com/comic-books/Nebula/20020266 You're probably right, something else to look for in the older Wal-Mart packs. I have a few I was going to keep sealed, but here's another argument for opening them up... Edit to add: This article states that 3 was "completed," and 4 was "completely drawn" at the time of cancellation: https://www.gamesradar.com/marvel-comics-nebula-title-canceled-after-year-plus-hiatus/
  9. Wow! Even on the Marvel Fandom site, it says, "This comic will not be released. It was canceled prior to its release date." https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Nebula_Vol_1_3
