  1. I found one on CAF, and one with Burkey. Erik Essington CAF Romitaman And if you do a search on CAF, there are a number of SSOC pages by other artists, too. Good luck!
  2. Maybe Kirby was trying out his stripper name? No judgement! Nice paper, too. That’s gotta be double ply!
  3. Man, only one is tough! I found some big pieces on my want list this year, but I’ll go with the piece I’ve been looking for longest. It wasn’t the most expensive I bought, but it was the most satisfying. A page from the Doom story in Astonishing Tales #2 by Wally Wood. I feel like I got a twofer here, with half the page being great Marvel content, and the other half reminiscent of his EC sci-fi work. And Doom zipping around on his jet pack!
  4. I just put a hold on a page yesterday, and am sending a check today. They were responsive and fairly priced, imo. They seem to only take checks in hand, tho, so you’ll probably have to get them the money first.
  5. Yeah? I had assumed touch, since it was white, and showed through the staples, but I couldn’t see exactly where it was used. Would glue be used on a book that is still firmly attached? Thanks for the heads up.
  6. Excuse the awful pics, but I took shots of some of the cooler pieces I saw. One of them ended up going home with me, too. The OA dealers brought the heat, imo. Man, it was nice to be back at the con again. Felt great!
  7. Brutal. I’m very lucky I’ve never lost anything that nice to damage.
  8. Thank you. There’s not too many issues, so we can figure it out from this. My guess would be Damn Nation.
  9. Ouch! Sorry, man. I once lost a bunch of collectibles and books to a River of Poo after a move. If you ever have an home inspector suggest flushing the water heater in a house that has laid dormant for many months, run away and don’t look back. I did not leave that dude a happy message.
  10. That helps a great deal. Thank you! They were friends with him years ago, so he must have gifted it to them.
  11. My dad found this page in a portfolio that had gone missing for years. He remembered that it was a gift, but can’t remember what it was from, or the artist. Does it ring a bell for anyone? I thought it looks a bit like Death in the last panel, but was unsure. If it’s a super obvious series, I’ll take my lumps, and wear my paper bag with pride! Thanks, all.
