Quick question. Im shopping around for a nice UXM 130 and ive noticed that most copies have a weird decect/tear at the top of the font cover, along the white line of cover art. Is it a tear from being pulled during manufacturing?...kind of like the bottom of most copies of ASM 361? Not all copies have it but Im seeing many high grade copies that do. Thanks.

It didnt take too long to unlock but It did lock again after 8 or 10 more searches. It is what it is, i guess. I hate having to stop when im in research mode!

I sent in a cracked SS book for reholder w/custom label. The book is in the grading/encapsulation/imaging phase but the comic description does not mention it being a Signature Series book? Is this normal? Thanks.

Im guessing the lawyer who wrote that has no clue why CGC was formed in the first place.

Its not simply supply and demand. New Mutants 87 & 98 are far from scarce but they are not cheap. Same goes for ASM keys...194, 238, 252, 300, 316, 361 These books are everywhere but still, they are not cheap. Ive even heard boardies refer to ASM129 and IH181 in the same way. They are everywhere.

Atrocious? ...a bit harsh, no? His style was no more over the top than Sam Keith or Jae Lee's were in the 90s. Other artists I also loved.

Rob certainly isn't Todd or Jim Lee but I honestly can't understand how anyone can hate his artwork. I have him ranked somewhere around 5th or 6th among the original Image artists.

Collector A collects runs which include the key issues. Collector B only collects the key issues. Speculator X hoards the key issues. Flipper Y hoards the key issues. EVERYONE wants the key issues.

Im guessing they would be fine if you make sure to open them every once in a while. Otherwise: Fireproof = air tight = no bueno
