Dark Knight

ST #110 is a tough book in high grade. Most are midgrade examples. Would be interesting to see how this book performs 2-3 years from now.

will the book continue to go up? , sure... will it get to TOS39 or JIM83 $$ level. , IMO/ , No, not unless the movie is a HUGE blockbuster, and even then, not so sure The book is certainly in the up and up without a movie, but with an announcement of one, I think it can go higher. It may reach the TOS 39/JIM 83 levels (they started off as "B" heroes before all the movies and now they are in the "A" realm). I can see it happening with Dr. Strange as well. Yes, the movie would have to be a hit for it to happen, but seeing how good the Marvel movies are as of late, I have no doubts about it. Question is, is Dr Strange even at the level of Iron Man/Thor before their movies? .. i don't think so.. will ST110 go up in value as it nears "movie time" , yes, without question. will it get to the level of TOS/JIM. Id be really hard press to think so... (if not flat out , no) but thats my , stranger things have happened! It's all speculation and guesses at this point. No one really knows for sure what's gonna happen in the future. All we know is that the book was undervalued for all these years and finally it is getting the respect and attention it deserves.

What do you mean IF? Have they announced a movie that will be done? I thought it was all talks and speculation as of now.

It was tough to swallow, but I'm still keeping my fingers that the consignor would the right thing and sell to me since legally it is a binding contract.. I don't think I want to out the dealer as I have always had good relations with them. Not there fault if they've tried emailing and calling the consignor and since have not had any response back. Yes, I bought it for a good deal, so maybe the consignor regretted it was priced too low? Unless of course the dealer bought it for themselves, which would be funny if they did

I told the dealer that I am willing to wait another week or so just so they can get a response from the consignor. Maybe the consignor had a change of heart and now doesn't want to sell.. That's what I'm thinking. I hope to get a definite answer soon Just sucks that I had to pass on 2 other copies that were available for sale

Thanks man! Yeah very rough actually.. I've never had this experience before. Did the buy it now, sent payment, waited, was told that I will expect to receive the book in a month's time, passed on other copies that were available, then now no response back from consignor..

Waiting to receive book? Nope.. Basically I hit a buy it now for a Showcase 4 at a reputable website and paid right away. After a few days, I was told that the consignor was on vacation and that he would ship the book out within a month's time. So I waited a month, and passed on a few opportunities to buy a copy because I was confident that I will have it. It's been about a month now and emailed the dealer asking em to follow up on the book and ask the consignor when he/she will ship the book. Got an email today that after repeated emails and calls, the consignor has not responded to them and I was asked if I wanted my $ back.. How do you think I felt after hearing that... And so, I emailed them back and told them to wait for a response from the consignor and I told them how upset I was... I guess it's a waiting game now to see if I will actually own the book or not.

What a banging 5.0 copy! Congrats! I'm guessing the staining may have dropped the grade of the book down. Otherwise, it looks like a 7.0 to me.

Yes, I felt it was missing as well and was expecting to see how they get it. I felt that there wasn't enough Falcon in the movie, but I understand.

Oh I definitely did when I saw it Friday. During the fighting scene, it was just dead silence. Then when Cap removed Bucky's mouth mask and when he looked at Cap, some of the audience were shocked that it was Bucky. I played along with it too. I was entertained by that reaction.

Seeing it tonight!! Can't wait!

Wow what an ending to that last episode!!!! I really liked this last one. It had everything that I wanted in a show. I'm wondering what Lorel will think/do now..

I've finally caught up with this show. Saw the entire Season 1 a month ago and now have just finished watching Birds of a Prey. Can't wait to see what happens between Thea, Slade, and possibly Merlyn. I wonder if the Flash will show up soon too.
