  1. This was the same book that on ebay a few weeks back. Not sure what happened, but the auction was pulled early
  2. I've been thinking since the huge drive up in prices across the grades. If you have a copy and thinking about selling, is today or sometime during the next couple of months be the best time to sell? Or would you think that prices can still go up once we get closer to the movie date? I personally think that prices realzed right now could be the highest we will ever see. Not sure if it can be topped a year or two years from now.
  3. Yep, that price seems very high for the book. WOw!
  4. Congrats on the nice pick-up! Probably the most undervalued pre-robin Tec book
  5. Well if anyone wants to punch in their membership to this exclusive club, Metro has one up for sale in GD- with extra staples on the book.
  6. I'll def. be bidding on the SC 22 on ebay
  7. Congrats Imran! That really is one of the coolest GA Bats covers (thumbs u That's a great pick-up! Very hard to find in unrestored condition (thumbs u
  8. Well I wouldn't be so sure about that. What if they are waiting till the move comes closer to theatres? I'm pretty sure they may have some high graded copies up their sleeves.
  9. Did Pacific Comic Exchange sell their CGC 3.0 copy for $850.00? Below are some recent sales from a few dealers. Metropolis 2.5 raw $475 Harley Yee 5.0 raw $1400 4.0 raw $ 900 I would say harley's copies were more like 4.0 and 3.0 (thumbs u Looking at Harley's grading system on books in the past, i'd have to concur as well
  10. How much was Metro asking for that book?
  11. Then see it you shall. (thumbs u Id love to read the subby vs. torchy through the scans
  12. But, he's not a dummy either. We're talking about a serious book that is 60-70 years old. I def. do not think it's a dummy move. I actually appreciate it when I hear collectors cracking slabs of expensive books. It's something I admire a lot because I am too chicken to crack slabs for my books.
  13. You Showcase 22 hoarders What about the collectors who never own one, can you give em a chance plsssss
  14. WOw beautiful book Palamas! Did you have it for a while now?
  15. WOW! Would love to see a scan of it
  16. Darn, that sucks.. Depending on how big the stain is on the book, whether it is a dark or light stain, and whether the stain went into the pages of the book will determine what the grade actually is. Anyone have pix of it? I'm certainly curious to see how it looks
  17. Wow $1200 for a 3.0!?!? Seems high no?
  18. Why is everyone so surprised by all these huge sales for uber high graded FF copies? It's dubbed the world's greatest magazine for crying out loud
