Wow, did you realise that they're all 4.0 copies I bet that with a little massage, he would be hard "pressed" not to have all 4.0's (thumbs u I missed the 3.5 it's a 4.0 (maybe even a 4.5) with a little tlc (thumbs u How sure are ya with that statement? The thought of it is still fiddling in my head.. But Im happy the way it is

Judging by the scans, and if the back cover has no major defects, looks like the book is a 1.8/2.0

I would but already upgraded to the desire grades I truly wanted them to be.. Already sold off all my lower graded copies

What a thread this turned out to be. I'm a friend of Yannis and I have to admit that yes he did the wrong thing here by not completing the sale with Matt. Once a deposit or payment has been made and agreed upon, then the book should no longer be for sale. It's a done deal. I'm sorry that Matt wasn't able to get the book he saved up for, but I'm sure in time he would have the chance for another copy. Having been lucky to own 2 copies of the book, I think he will get it and I too will help him find the right copy for him. I also do not think that Yannis deserves to be in the probation thread as he didn't keep Matt's deposit nor cursed anyone on the boards. I believe the probation thread is for more bigger and serious things.

Soo whats the tally between the MM 9 and Tec 38 and between Tec 27 and Action 1.. Seems dead even for both

Between MM 9 and Tec 38, I choose MM #9 as it is much tougher to find, classic story, and better cover IMHO. Between Action 1 and Tec 27, gimme Tec 27 for obvious reasons

I am not going to do any resto on this. This one I am keeping for the long haul and want to keep it genuine. Also - the pages don't look tannish from what I can tell. Cream/ow in color at worst but somewhere this is a little brittle area. We were saying in some earlier posts the books pages may be 99% cream/ ow or better and that it only takes 1% (we think spine area) of brittle somewhere to get the "slightly brittle" slapped on for page quality of the whole book.
