  1. Hi, I'm curious why you feel that way. I looked at both and the 7.0 does look cleaner and a little nicer to me. Just wondering. Just looks better to me in my opinion. Also it is a pedigree copy as an added bonus.
  2. Also the "3.5" copy has been up publicly for sale 3x times now, going on A 4th time within a short period of time. Usually when the same book is seen back up for auction again and again even if the grade is higher now than it was before, the sale price is lower than its previous sale. I've noticed this time and time again on a number of books. Also, it makes sense because take out the top winning bidders of that book and you're left with the underbidders competing with each other.
  3. Agreed. I like this one-stop shop / all-things integrated architecture. As a seller, I also find the Payment and Performance tools are actually very useful. Even if the fees were hiked up a bit (which I argue they haven't really changed), given the transparency through their metrics tools and comparatively high traffic volume, with some smart DIY marketing through social media/Google, eBay is a better sales channel than CLink, ComicConnect, and maybe even Heritage. eBay's FMV caps at $750 by the way...last I checked. But I am sure there are some decent counterarguments to what I said. Hey Pete! Hope you're doing well. Is the highlighted part still active on ebay? If it is, then it is a huge benefit for sellers with items over $7500
  4. It does have a gut shot at over a mil, but it's such a weaker 7.0 that it wouldn't sell as much as a traditional 7.0 copy
  5. This is one of the few books I'd love to own and never had the chance to
  6. ^ agreed with above. Also, not sure if this same copy sold previously, but there was a 1.5 that sold at CC a couple years ago with the same label notes for $92,800.
  7. The batlle of the tanned front cover copies. I think the 29 will have a higher sale price, but by a hair. I've had multiple opportunities in the past to buy that Tec 31 but that ugly dust shadow was and still is a big turn off for me and not a fan of writing that obscures from the cover art.
  8. Out of those books above, I think the last few Flash 1's that sold were overvalued. Was quite surpised actually when a 5.0 sold last year for $92k and a 2.5 at around $52k. AA 16 is currently priced just right based on the last 2-3 sales. I think the next blue label Marvel 1 will sell for a record price. AS 8, Pep 22, Archie 1 have lost their "luster" since their record sale price days a few years ago. Just my personal opinion and for transparency sakes, I do not own any of these books.
  9. I'll take the under. Probably around $25k or less.
  10. From wwcomics to comiclink to now comicconnect (in under 2 yrs) No one it seems wants to hold on to the book Looks like "Ernest Moga" to me, but anyways this book used to be a 3.0. It's too bad that it is back up for sale and not kept in one's collection for years to come.
  11. Just saw this and I'd like to extend my prayers and condolences to Bob's fam. I've never met him, but have always enjoyed his posts like many others on here. May you RIP in heaven.
