  1. I have a sealed box of 1992 marvel masterpieces, which in my opinion, is the best looking out of all the years.
  2. Yea it was quite surprising the huge gap in sale price between the Tec 29 and 31. Tec 31 has always sold for more but not by this big of a gap.
  3. I've been storing my mega key books in a safety deposit bank at my local bank for over a decade now and never had any problems
  4. Nothing new here at all. Vintage cards of star players will always command high prices as well as today's cards of up and upcoming stars and future HOF's. The big rookie cards of Mike Trout, Tom Brady, Gretzky, Kobe, Lebron, MJ just to name a few are always going to be in high demand
  5. Sorry guys, raised my price to 22k for the FF5 due to the 8.0 that just sold for a hair over 26k. If it doesn't sell, I don't mind keeping it
  6. I really don't know but it is a lot tougher to find a 6.0 than a 5.0. But hey I don't mind the 6.0 price 😄
  7. The 6.0 sold for $66k, a pretty strong price. Not surprising at all coming from the king of the SA!
  8. I think if Tec 27 also included BW/Batman's origin story together with his 1st appearance, it might beat out Action 1 by a hair since they are practically neck and neck.
  9. Thanks for all the warm compliments towards my copy . I know I have another copy somewhere signed by Siegel and Shuster
  10. Looks a lot like my old copy. We can start a club. We'll have tons of members. Let's go!!! Great idea to start the official imaginary Tec 27 fan club!
  11. Terrific 5 CGC 8.0 for $32k, did very well I thought. I used to own an 8.5 copy
  12. Yup, just a rotation of keys which have underperformed for a few years are now gaining some ground and interest. Happens quite frequently where Showcase 4 had a huge spike in 2016, then AF 15 around 2017 and then it rotated to Hulk 1 and now it's to X-men 1. Next up should really be FF 1 in my opinion, still has plenty of room to grow.
  13. Certainly is a head scratcher that removing the color touch resulted in a grade bump even if the color touch work is a C grade
  14. Bump to the top. We shall see if my asking prices are right around market value when the Heritage auction ends in a couple days or so hehe. I will adjust my prices accordingly or possibly keep them the same in conclusion of the auction if book(s) haven't sold. I am willing to listen to reasonable offers for both books sold as a combo. Shoot me a pm and we shall see. Thanks.
  15. Yeah, it is really unfortunate that his collection was stolen. It only takes a huge event like that to make collectors realize that maybe it's better to hold on to cash in your bank account than continually to keep your fingers crossed that your collection is safe everyday.
  16. X-Men #1 already has its huge run-up as of late. Will prices continue to rise? I really don't know. But I would go with the keys that are perceived to be undervalued compared to XM1 right now like a few mentioned above.
  17. FF #5: One of the hottest SA keys and a must for any Dr. Doom or FF collector! Five years ago, I saw this book as being undervalued. Last few years now it is finally getting respect. Book has bone white pages and no marvel chipping. It is climbing higher and higher it seems. Price: $22,000
  18. Greetings everyone! Just listing a couple of SA mega key Fantastic Four books . Prices are firm at the moment (subject to change). No HOS's or probies please, serious buyers only! I am open to short time payments up to 3 months w/ a 20% non-refundable down payment paid via check (only form of payment I am accepting). Check must clear first before book is shipped. Shipping locally in the U.S. only. Buyer can request whether they want the book shipped via USPS or Fed-Ex w/ signature, shipping included in price. Any other questions, please ask. Thanks! Return Policy: I can accept returns up to 7 days starting from when you receive the book. Book has to be returned in exact same condition as received. Buyer responsible for shipping costs back to me. FF #1: Presents nicely for the grade IMO w/ no marvel chipping, pages are offwhite. There is one currently up for auction at Heritage, same grade 4.5 already at $18,600 w/ around 8 days left. Will it break $20k when it is all said and done? I think it's quite possible!!! Book is in an uptrend. Price: $19,000
