    All I can say.. ... gimme a 9.0 for a fraction of the price. Most folks cant tell the difference between a 9.8, 9.6, 9.4. This sale is screaming buy the label, not the book.

    I once had a book with a Universal label that mentioned it was trimmed on the label. A QC screw up no doubt. It happens, but rarely I presume. A few posted on here books that was once universal and then went into a PLOD after a resub or vice versa.

    I'm really digging conserved copies more and more. There is so much value in a conserved book vs unrestored especially with big major keys.

    That would be astronomically huge for Doom if he can get the same level of recognition, and I like it! If it goes that way, he could be even bigger than Thanos.

    All eyes will be on that particular copy now if and when it surfaces back up for sale. Lesson learned after reading this thread. If buying a book from a non-CGC holder, research on every single copy of that book to see if it was graded by CGC previously. Got it.

    Now that's just crazy!!! I wonder who got it right? Sold on HA for $21,600.. Around $86k profit in a few months.

    I would have to agree with Jay on this one. Just this month, a CGC 4.0 sold for $7350 by a reputable dealer!! A record for this grade! Also saw a raw copy on Ebay sold for $5100, seller graded as a "VG", looks more like a GD/VG due to top staple detachment, stains, spine split bottom, etc. I would also put X-Men 1 too!

    Cool thanks! I have one book to send through crossover services. When doing the online form, it didn't mention about the promotion being over and still gave me a discount on the grading tier compared to a normal submission.

    To those that did the crossover, did you have your books pressed first before getting it CGC graded or just a straight re-sub? Would CGC email/call you if say your book can benefit from a press before being graded?
