    I had two of these and used to run around the yard going nuts with them. My grandmother sold them at a garage sale without my permission along with a majority of my toy box. It was one of the worst days of my childhood (I had a very good childhood).

    At the beginning of the auction it was the only 9.9. By the end that octuplet ss 361 9.9 had hit the census. I wondered if the bidders knew that.

    I just finished 'And the Saw the Angel' by Nick Cave. I didn't like it. None of the characters are likeable and the main character's narration while amusing at first became painful and lababrious to read after 200 pages of repitive sentences loaded with adjective after adjective. Also the amount of gratuitous violenece desensitized me so that by the time of the dénouement it was expected and lacking any shock value.

    My understanding is that they have been more lenient on the mid grades but tougher on the ultra high grade 9.4+ Was the book pressed before being sent off? If so did the scans in the thread show it before or after pressing?
