    Question for the Instagram experts:

Is there an established strategy or practice for creating an effective "want to buy" post on Instagram?  Let's say I have a specific book I'm looking for, and a price I'm willing to pay -- what's the best way to get it out there?  Or what if I wanted to post a longer want list?

As with anything else on social media, your image is important. Create a graphic (like on Canva) with all the important details. In your description you can go a little deeper, but really and truly pay attention to the hashtags you're using. Look through other comic sellers on IG and copy whatever hashtags would do the best for you. Also utilize IG stories. A lot of people I know that flip on IG do well with stories.

I like Big Little Books and other similar books like Fast Action and Big Big Books but the Shadow has been hard to find.  I try to collect BLB, with related Sunday Funnies and Comic Books.

The Buck Rogers BLB are on my want list -- I collect Buck in general. I absolutely love your spread!

  3. Hey y'all!

A few years ago @Rich_Henn and I started a comic book and beer podcast called Barzinga. Some of you might remember it. Well, Rich and I are still going with it, and we even have another co-host now. So if you need something to do this weekend, why not check out our little project? We have interviews with Charlie Adlard, Alan Dean Foster, and more. In the next week or so we'll even have a three part interview with Mark Zaid! So give us a like, subscribe on YouTube, grab a cold beer, and join us on Barzinga.

I thought Juggie only liked Cheesburgers?

The only Archie comics I have are afterlife with Archie. Those were pretty cool.

So throughout the decades Jughead has indicated that he genuinely likes Betty, and would pick her if he was into dating. In 1988 Jughead shares a first kiss with his childhood sweetheart, Joani. He has even shown romantic interest in Ethel through the years, but because Archie Comics have 0 continuity these romantic storylines were usually abandoned quickly.

Ok, I wanted an answer & I got one from an authority on it!

Veronica always seemed like the OG Mean girl!

She is, but she's my favorite. Her and Jughead would honestly make the most dynamic couple -- in fact, during the Golden Age, she did develop a slight crush on Juggie. Canonically tho Jughead has admittedly had a thing for Betty, and they would also be a cute couple (which they were/are in Riverdale).

I was never a big Archie fan, but since you are:

Who should Archie be with? Betty or Veronica?

I might have written about this in a prior Overstreet, but in case I didn't:

Neither. He should be by himself. Archie, at his core, is too caught up with the impossible dream of being rich and famous at the expense of Betty. Veronica herself is also a jerk for allowing her "best friend" to be manipulated so easily.

Then again I'm looking at these comics too deeply. :acclaim:

Question: in that sentence is fake modifying “Baltimore Lauren” or “box”?

Seems like some people might not want a mystery box by someone trying to steal your identity, but would be somewhat intrigued by something you were offering that looked like a mystery box, but was actually not.

    Asking for a friend.

In this case it's modifying the box. But in every case, you may get some bootleg Baltimore merch. Imagine a box filled with Baltimore Snorliole, a movie called Pomade, etc.

    Horrifying.
