  1. Spot on. CGC will lose a lot of big submitters with this increase of turnaround times. Having $1,000 - $10,000's stuck in submission fees is not good for large submitters. They will just go back to PSA, PSA is good for cash flow, PSA charges after service is rendered (graded). Missed opportunity for sure.
  2. i guess as we get close to the 60 day turnaround it will change to 90 days. and as it gets close to 90 days it changes to 120 days. Heard this story before. "nothing is guaranteed" except when they charge you the second it gets to "recieved". LOL
  3. i wonder if they CGC took a early Xmas and New Year Vacation and party. i have 10/28 submissions still "scheduled for grading". The value is slipping. 30 day business day was a excellent value. 60 day business When paying upfront is not such a great value anymore. Other grading companies charge when finished grading. So even if it take 4-6 months, it does not really impact Cash flow. Customers are charged when SERVICE RENDERED.
  4. received 10/28 . STILL SCHEDULED FOR GRADING.... recieved 11/04 "grading/quality" OVER ONE WEEK..... Many others "scheduled for grading" fff
  5. Grading is not that hard, most hobbyist that submit cards can eye ball a card and grade as consistent. Centering , edges, corners are basic . The surface is the element that is most difficult and time consuming. Maybe if they go to a more like a "moving assembly line" . train a person to grade only corners, next person grades only edges, next person grades only centering and the experienced graders do surface. ALSO, with the limit catalog of only Pokemon and Magic cards. Training should be much easier than training Sports cards the consist of so may cards and printing media.
  6. I was wondering if some staff quit or even worse a grader quit which caused the longer turnaround times. All the grading companies are "head hunting" for graders and workers. who knows the truth. I just want my cards graded by any company that is reputable and treat customers as just customers. no guess work. i can watch game shows on TV if i want to play games.
  7. we will see when the next "turnaround times" get changed. I guess we know why they were having Website upgrades the last day or so. Still good is not always good. 30 to 60 days. Will it go to 120 next?
  8. 4 calendar months is a LONG TIME. Almost SGC 2.0. Was a great opportunity to get a huge market share in Grading cards. Just upgraded my membership YESTERDAY. ffffffffffffffffff
  9. Do a request ONLINE at USPS.om about your tracking. They are really good about answering your tracking questions. I actually got a call from USPS in 5 minutes from a worker in CT about a package that was taking too long with very few tracking updates last week.
  10. This is 2020 almost 2021. Many sites have Amazon PAY, Google Pay and many other payment options. CGC is in the big leagues now.(i hope).
  11. Usually major credible companies take "DISCOVER" credit/debit cards. I find that one unusual that CGC does not. Growing Pains and we early customers are the guinea pigs.
  12. Customers are humans too. All grading companies should keep that in mind. They collect money fast from customers. The system should collect just before shipping so the customers feel like something is at risk if grading companies take to long. One reason i do not use BGS bulk or SGC bulk is they collect when received and the money is tied up for 6-10 months+. PSA collects only when finished. So your money is not tied up and PSA has a responsibility to grade before collecting money. Hope CGC learns from the mistakes of other grading companies. There is just too much excuses in the grading card world at this time.
  13. One of my submissions been in "scheduled for grading" more than ONE WEEK. Logged in 10/28. My 1st submission got logged in only 5 days before 10/25 and was shipped 11/25. SO THEY ARE FALLING BEHIND BY THE DAY and FAST. Still acceptable if it is only 1 week late. but i am sure any other submission after the 10/28 willl start to fall behind weeks then months like all the other companies.
  14. Oct 23rd, 2020 DELIVERED PO BOX Oct 28 2020 Received logged by CGCDec 12, 2020 "Scheduled for Grading" for more than a week. Hopefully CGC does not follow the same path as SGC, they had a great opportunity to get a big share of grading from PSA/BGS but dropped the ball and currently have wait time worse than PSA/BGS. I am cheering for CGC, but the answers, communications and performance is slipping recently.
  15. Type: Bulk Date received: 10/28 Status: Scheduled for Grading 9 more subs. but this is the closest to grading.
  16. Do we need to buy another "membership" for sports cards grading?
  17. please CGC, do not drop the ball like SGC did this summer. This is a huge opportunity to gain a huge market share of Card Grading.
  18. 10/28 received . Just went into "scheduled for grading" yesterday. 12/7 Waits are getting longer. My 1st submission was 10/23 and got graded and shipped 11/25.
  19. depends on the grader. You get the one in a bad mood or reading these forums then BAM. 8.5 all the way.
  20. my second submission went BACKWARDS, back to "received". not happy
  21. My second submission went BACKWARDS, it is not BACK in receiving.
  22. "In Process" FOR ONE FULL WEEK. . Anyone knows what that is all about? This stage is not on the website.
