  1. What stage is "in process" ? no one has yet explained what stage this really is. before, after, walking to, walking from, etc. just interested to know more about the system.
  2. My submission has been in "In Process" for 5 days? What is this stage, i could not find this stage anywere. I never seen this stage in my first submission. thanks
  3. yes, the opportunity to gain a large share is their for CGC. SGC Blew it by having even worse service when they had the chance of all the people sending them submissions instead of PSA/BGS.
  4. i am in a stage not listed "in process" . So there might be stages in between when they are walking between departments. Been in "in process" for a few days.
  5. any one knows what "in process" means ? and how long ? what stage is it ? thank you
  6. i am in "in process" for a couple of days. What is that?
  7. CGC does not even grade many Pokemon cards from Japan... I hope CGC knows Pokemon comes from Japan. big disappointment. The identifiers need to step up to play in the big leagues of PSA and BGS.
  8. Can we use the scans that CGC has of our OWN cards we graded on other platforms? personal use ? Selling on ebay ? posting on forums?
  9. tougher is not what makes a company better. Consistency is what should make a company better. .
  10. got 10 bulk submissions. One just went into "scheduled for grading" that was marked received 10/23. all the other 9 are still marked received.
  11. not 30 days yet. But a mod/admin first told me that CC would be charged when finished. So i took their word and started to send in more submissions. But the information was wrong and they are charging as the log delivered. The Charges get logged fast, LOL. How many "stages" do CGC have ? Delivered ===>then ====> then ======> ??????? =====>shipped would be nice to see some movement. PSA has: ARRIVED ==> ORDER PREP ==> RESEARCH & ID ==> GRADING ==> ASSEMBLY ==> QA CHECK 1 ==> QA CHECK 2 ==> SHIPPING Thanks for the great information.
  12. i learned the hard way. I spent 1 hours putting a submission together and typing them in , putting them in ORDER. then when i went to submit. BAM, they were in two different sheets. So i had to go back and reorganize the sequence of cards to the right submission order sheets. It was horrible and i almost was going to just trash that submission. I also do not submit with various levels because of the extra charges with each new different submission and add ons. Something that CGC should re think. i am sure you and i are not the only ones that think CGC should re structure the submission charges. GO CGC, listen to your first consumers. Word of mouth advertisement is your core.
  13. This is a huge opportunity for CGC to grab a giant share of grading cards. I hope CGC realizes that the "TIME" factor is why many are submitting to them at this time. SGC and even GMA dropped the ball and could have gotten a larger share but both SGC and GMA have dropped the ball by having even worst time and customer service when they had a great opportunity. I have 10 bulk submissions with CGC that has been charged to my CC and still in "received". PSA does take a long time, but they do not charge until they finish the job and ship the order. I would not mind CGC charging for my submission at the grading or when the submission actually gets past the "received" level. Just a suggestion for future growth. I have 1000's of cards to submit Gaming and sports that are on hold . I would have sent more Gaming cards to CGC but the charging before any movement is what is holding back my submissions. What if grading times moved to 2-3-4-5-8 months? i cannot have my money held for 6+ months, if i sent 1000-2000 cards, that would be $10,000-$20,000 held without any time frame of return. I really want CGC to be successfulso i can be a loyal customer. A fresh company to compete with PSA,BGS and SGC. Just hope CGC takes the good elements of each competitor and not the bad elements of those companies.
  14. i use multiple grading companies. It really depends what you are grading , value, selling, buying and most of all TIME. i have over 450+ cards still in receiving with CGC. hope to see some movement before i start sending more. but also have 500+ cards in PSA limbo. believe it or not i have 3 small batches sent, finished and returned by BGS.
  15. Why stop, make sure they grade the printing presses that made the cards.
  16. thanks for the real experience submission . PSA only charges at time of finished grading which is great. BGS charges when received which is fine for express service but horrible for other levels as they can lock up money for 3-9 months. SGC charges when arrived, which is also bad. GMA charges when finished, good. I really want to use CGC . but the movement needs to be explained more. Even a moderator here thought that CGC charges after grading, which i found out is not the correct answer. I just got another $1000 charged today. nothing out of "received" yet.
  17. Thank you for the important information. i stop sending submissions until i see movement. CGC has charged my CC ($3000+ and going up) but all my submissions are just in receiving at this point . Just going to wait to i send any more to them. I am wishing for the best at this point. I was waiting for the Sports cards grading to start, but lets see how this works out. It is tough to have so much money tied up. I grade with all the companies right now, $1,000's here $1,000's there all add up if the grading companies hold customers fund for 1-9 months.
  18. i will be over $3000 in charges on my CC and all my submissions are still in "received". sort of feels like other companies at this point. Was going to send another few hundred cards this week but decided against sending anymore until i see movement. I have been burnt by other grading companies promises, but the other companies are on 3-9 months turnaround. Hope that is not the situation with CGC. Another question. Does the status ever change ? what is after "received" ?
  19. I have been charged $2500+ (another charge today 11/11) and all my submissons are still in "received". Please double check your information. Thank you
  20. I have a box from the 1990's i want authenticated so i can sell it. Some other company authenticates baseball boxes already.
  21. i got charged approx $2000 so far and my cards are still in received status. Wish they would charge when it at least gets to Grading stage.
  22. Where do we go to find more information about the start of that new company ? Is it part of the CGC Familly? thank you
  23. i really hope so, Some of the other grading companies actually charge the credit card when received and deliver 3-6 months after. That is money tied up for several months. horrible GO CGC , wish all the success to your company.
  24. Thank you. I am holding my sports cards for CGC ! wish it is sooner than later.
