  1. Thanks Stephen! I find the downfall for us being outside of the US is trying to watch the videos on AMC.com and all the emails from them - I keep getting the "Sorry this video is not available in your area" message LOL And AMC+ is not available for me either... I guess I could I could cheat and run a VPN and try to get it that way... I would probably pay for AMC+ if I could get it legally to watch the shows early but it's just not available right now outside the US... Cheers!
  2. LOL I wish! There were so many people around them it was tough to get close... I did get about 10 feet away from Chris Hardwick though! Met some AWESOME people standing in line for 8 hours when we were waiting to get in - Got to chat with some of the cosplayers too... Funny enough the screen shot I was able to grab from Talking Dead was when the audience member was up with IronE Singleton asking the question - Can just make us out in the background. Was just an amazing day! A couple of pics for y'all... Have a great Friday!
  3. Hi everyone! I am a huge TWD fan from up north in Canada, eh! Just joined the forums today, found this thread and thought I would say hi! Started collecting the new Walking Dead Deluxe comics when they came out in October Profile pic is from the 100th episode premiere in LA in 2017 - We won tickets and flew in from Canada for the weekend to be in the Talking Dead audience - It was AWESOME!!! LOL PVR'd the episode and was even able see us briefly (and blurrily, if that's a word) in the audience Have a great night and stay safe everyone! Oliver
  4. Hello everyone! Just joined today so I could post a question about mylar bags LOL... So my hello post is actually my second one... No one's ever said I do things in the right order LOL I just started collecting comics... I am a massive fan of The Walking Dead so I started collecting the Walking Dead Deluxe comics that just came out - Been a fan of zombie movies since I was a young buck in the 80's Just wanted to say hello to everyone! Cheers from Canada! Oliver
  5. Hi All! Total newbie here but kudos to the OP mschmidt - This post is an amazing wealth of information! I have just started collecting - Huge fan of The Walking Dead franchise so I decided to start collecting The Walking Dead Deluxe series - Already have all the #'s 1&2 cover variants and a few of the foil variants, #1 gold foil, Negan Lives bronze and silver foil covers, and I am looking into protecting my collection properly. Talked to my comic book store guy and he suggested putting the comics into mylar sleeves with no back boards, and then sliding that into a slightly larger bag with a back board in the larger bag. I actually though that was an interesting idea as it allows you to slide the inner mylar out to enjoy both the front and back covers without removing the comic from it's mylar bag. I don't think I would do it with all my comics, maybe just the more expensive ones... I think for my regular covers I will just go with Mylites2 and Full-Backs. Just wondering if anyone has done this method of double bagging before? What did you think? Good idea or bad? Would it be better to use Mylites4 for the inner mylar bag maybe? Then I was thinking Half-Backs and Archives for the outers... Cheers from Canada! Oliver
