Daredevil #254. 1st appearance and origin of Typhoid Mary. Unfortunately, this book has been through the ringer. All sorts of bends, folds, creases, chipping, etc... A press might get out some of the worst stuff, but there's plenty of color breaking problems and chipping also. I'd grade it a .5 except I think that's only for incomplete, and this is not. The pages are W/OW though. So somewhere between a 1.0 and a 2.0 probably. Asking $3

Sending priority would probably be around $10 for that For anything over 3 books I'll just do a medium flat rate box at $15.50 If someone goes absolutely insane and I can't fit it in the medium flat rate, I do have the large flat rate boxes also. Which would be $22. Or we could work out something to send them just straight priority in some of the 1092 or 1095 style boxes. I'm planning on selling a bunch of stuff to them in the next week or so. My question is, if I have something that qualifies for consignment, is that a better option than just taking whatever their cash offer might be? Like, if I have a slab they are offering $50 for. Should I take that, or should I send it in to be consigned? The amount of time it takes to get the money is not an issue, there's no time crunch. So it's really about which makes more money.

Oh, so it does go straight to "scheduled for grading" when it gets back from CCS?

If I'm understanding what you're asking right, the quick answer is no it does not affect value at all. Longer answer: a) 1977 is Bronze, not Silver b) that's just the tier used at CGC - Modern is 1975-present $200 or less value

I like those holders fisionbomb linked. That's what's holding the 2 books to the left of the poster. I got a pack of 5 so I'll use them up and see if it's the only solution I want to use going forward or not.

So, I have 1 comic I sent in Economy, but arranged to have it pressed by CCS first (wanted to see what the process was like). I know there's no status updates for the pressing, it will sit in received state until they get it back from CCS. Once it does get back from CCS does it go straight to scheduled for grading, or does the TAT timer for Economy then start? Thanks
