  1. (((Slym & Rob))) I give up, ..I'm going to watch Transformers 2 with my husband...I'm sure you guys will figure out more letters! cyberhugs from skypinkblu now if only my Marching Society would go away... -Rob-
  2. *sigh* Male Menstrual Syndrome...or you can substitute "Moon" for the M word It's YOUR version of PMS;) M-O-O-N that spells moon
  3. I had pm'd him after he was asking about those books in a thread and asked which ones he has, since I'm trying to put a set together. Those were not really ones I needed, so he decided to put them on Ebay. *I* suggested that he put them in the forum (before he listed them on Ebay) and I never thought about explaining that you cannot do both. Apparently in the coin forum you can. He was very nice and went out of his way to ID some bills for me... Not every newcomer is a person to avoid, we do get lost lambs sometimes...I'm sure he was confused. I SURE would have been confused. I agree with this.. except it seemed like he was a jerk about it afterward. Instead of "Oh I'm sorry-- should've read the rules" he rolled with the "freedom of speech" bit. That said, I've been in a bad mood all day so maybe I'm just overly cranky. -Rob- There, there...It's OK, I understand PMS (or in guy's cases MMS) we can't help ourselves;) and it takes 2 wrongs It takes 2 wrongs to make a right? I'm confused. Well, that was my original thought but he wasn't perfect either, so I left off the "right"... (and the phone rang while I was typing;) It's too cold to come up with correct sayings:) It IS too cold... probably why I'm snarky. Nothin' but love, though! Going to go turn my anger toward George Lucas for not having Star Wars out on Blu Ray yet.

  6. MAJOR kudos to thirdgreenham for hooking me up with some awesome Don Rosa war books to give to my nephew for XMas. You rock as per usual! -Rob-
  7. (thumbs u Kudos on a great thread. The Roy pic is up there with Harley Yee set up in 7 Eleven from awhile back. -Rob-
  8. Major props to almoe! Got some nice TTA readers. Extremely well packed too! -Rob-
  9. Major props to inconceivable for a great batch of Silver Surfer FFs! Thanks! -Rob-
  10. What an awesome book! If you ever decide to part with that one, let me know I had no idea this was a comicbook. Seeing it makes it VERY tempting to go after a GI Joe 1, Transformers 1, and that one. Like the holy trinity of 80s childhood. (Is there a Voltron comic... oh oh and Strawberry Shortcake too... and Smurfs if there's one) Oh jeez... I'm in trouble Must stop looking at threads... -Rob-
  11. Major props to Trey Cannon for fast payment and a really friendly transaction on a book -Rob-
  12. Big thanks to airwalker for helping me complete my Silver Surfer run 1-18! w00t -Rob-
  13. Well, I can't believe I'm doing it, but I'm making a serious run at my grail. I've no idea if I'll make it or not but because of this move I am indeed selling off my 9.8 Spider-Man books. I started with 300. If I can't move that I won't sell the rest because my plan really requires me to move that book. If that sells there will be a 252, a v2 36, and lots more highly desireable copies. If I get through those I have a pretty nice 101 raw that I might begrudgingly part with also. -Rob-
  14. Kudos to Subliminal not only for quick payment but also for exercising the local pickup option! -Rob-
  15. I'd like to extend a quick kudos to gaz973 for superfast payment on some books tonight. Was top-notch to deal with. -Rob-
  16. That Turtles stuff is AWESOME. Soooo cool. -Rob-
  17. Just got new OA in from boardie Wurstis. Top notch guy to deal with. And, if I may say so, this is just a fantastic Spidey page. -Rob-
  18. Wurstis just hooked me up with a fantastic Spider-Man OA page. HUGE KUDOS I live in Canada and the thing got here in 2 days via FedEx. The art was reasonably priced and he only charged half for shipping to boot. I can't say enough good things about this transaction. http://www.wurstisart.com/ He has a site with his artwork and also his artwork for sale. Check it out if you're in the market for Spidey OA. Definitely a good addition to the boards in my now biased opinion! -Rob-
  19. Major Major Kudos to MCMILES !!!!! Let go of a tough Spidey in 9.8 for a reasonable price and shipped it perfectly. Couldn't be happier with the book. Thanks so much! -Rob-
  20. I never understood the concept of just 'sticking' the art away and not being able to get the 'tingle'. Of course, as you can see, I am way out of room. The art 'erupts' in other areas of the house to the extent such is permitted by my more than understanding wife. jb Here are some 'non-comic room' shots that (inadequately) handle my overflow.....jon Are the framed comics the actual comics, or copies of covers of books you own, or what? I wondered if you worried about their condition in the frames and whatnot. Saw a Whiz 2 (dream book) and had a panic attack. So awesome. -Rob-
  21. I agree! That is just AWESOME. Definitely some cool stuff you have in there. Amazing.
  22. Great room and collection. Your right Bill, the exam gloves are interesting, especially considering the 2 bottles of whipped cream in the first photo. If the walls could only speak.... I think those are cans of compressed air for dusting.... For "dusting." Riiiiigghhhht. -Rob-
