  1. If I were to sell it I guess I should cut out the missing stamps from my low/mid grade comics and complete the book. I have hundreds from that period with stamps intact so shouldn’t be difficult.
  2. Oh yeah...those were my peak buying years so I got them all...Howard, she hulk nova micronauts rom shogun spiderwoman spectacular Spider-Man human fly, moon knight, dazzler, battle star galactica, Star Wars, etc
  3. In my ongoing search thru the attic I turned up these posters
  4. I guess at some point I wised up and decided maybe it was better not to cut up my comics. As I’ve been going thru and cataloging I’d say 80% of my comics from the MVS era have their stamp intact.
  5. Amazing. I’m keeping mine (besides, I’d have to split the money with my brother). if anyone wants to see other pages, let me know.
  6. Bought it new when I was a kid. At a comic book store or convention or possibly mailed away for it...that was a loonnggg time ago. My older brother might remember.
  7. Just found my original price guide in a bin in the attic. AF 15 mint $60 Avengers 1 mint $25
  8. But I think this is my favorite of all...the price guide my brother and I got in the mid-70s. I vividly remember lugging it around to conventions to see what everything was worth.
  9. And this that explains the cut outs in a bunch of my comics
  10. As I’ve been going back thru my comics that i collected from mid-70s to mid-80s I’ve had this inkling that I had other items that I assumed I had lost during a move years ago...but digging around just now found this plastic bin full of surprises
  11. Beautiful copy. 7.5 An odd thing about this one is I've seen this image online (https://comics.gocollect.com/guide/view/126222) with more shown below where yours ends but my copy is exactly like yours.
  12. As I’ve been going thru my comics (all bought either new or slightly used in 70s thru mid-80s) it’s amazing how many have like a “30” written in pencil on the back from a comic boom store or convention. Bags weren’t really a thing yet at least pre-80 so they’d write the price on the book. Then there’s all my silver age marvels with kids’ math homework written in pen on the front covers. We didn’t care about condition back then...I was just trying to fill in collections to read the stories! (And even if high grades were for sale if I had $3 to spend it would always be 10 for $3 vs 1 for $3)
  13. That would be a heck of an ROI if I were going to sell. We’ll see.
  14. I’m figuring that out...i stopped collecting 35 years ago and other than rebagging now and then haven’t paid attention. Now that I’m rebagging/reboarding (I love Mylar!) I’m getting around to cataloging...just found this in NM. This is fun.
