  1. That brundage cover is fantastic! Why doesn't the damsel help the guy out? She seems turned on that he is about to be engulfed.
  2. I have never seen that Strange Tales #28 cover. Amazing cover art on that book
  3. Is that Adventures Into Unknown a pedigree book Adamstrange? The book looks freshly printed!
  4. Love that book, and it looks like a solid grade. Nice one!
  5. Agreed, of the books he agreed to purchase, I still have one book left that he could/should make good on. I am holding my breath...NOT
  6. He's still hanging around the Forum. He entered my grading contest tonight. So he's apparently purposely avoiding paying his debt to October... Jim Which makes no sense to me. From what I saw from October's sales threads, his prices are quite reasonable. My prices were as well...
  7. I think you two should relist them. For the money you're out from this guy it sounds like these weren't anything to sneeze at and I have a feeling many people would be interested in them again. Including myself. I am relisting them on the boards this afternoon.
  8. Yep Yep. I guess the option is to put them back up on the selling forum.
  9. I hate to admit it, but you are probably right. The good thing is, at least for me, is that I sold the books at cost. So the fact that he can't pay for them isn't the complete end of the world. Just wish he would have been upfront with me, as opposed to out-and-out lying.
  10. Totally agree. However, since you have been waiting for much longer than even me, you should definitely get paid first.
  11. I have been so patient with this guy, it is unbelievable. He has made promise after promise, and has not delivered. This is his last 2 posts to me: He's right. It does sound like B.S. Obviously, no overnight payment was ever received.
  12. $800 Unbelievable. I can't believe he has more than one transaction where he owes that kind of money.
  13. He agreed to purchase books from me in September, with the understanding that he would have been paid off no later than Thanksgiving. B.S. and broken promises were all I received after receiving a late down payment.
  14. How much does he owe you? He owes me $1,235
  15. Divad, old man should be added to the probation list, for reasons that we have previously discussed, along with continued lack of communication and lack of payment.
  16. Right back at you for helping me accumulate funds to feed my Golden Age obsession!
  17. Kudos to: 1CoolEngineer deamentia For quick payments on their recent VCC purchases.
  18. There is nothing meager about that collection. Those are some real beauties! I really like the #38, as I dig the Evil FF.
  19. -1st Appearance Books- -1st Medusa. Just won this book off of ebay: -1st Dragon Man. Won this book last year on Heritage: -1st Wizard. Purchased at Wizardworld Chicago last year:
  20. Funny. Personally, I consider the woman on the cover to be the money shot , but now that you mention it, the dirty rat thingy is pretty cool too .
  21. Thanks go out to the following forumnites who immediately paid via paypal after purchasing books from me on the VCC: GreatEscape dopy02 tofer118 Thanks much!
  22. @ Podboy, I was looking at that Blonde Phantom. That cover is by far my favorite of The Blonde Phantom run, but I couldn't get over the dirtiness of the front cover. Here are two Davis Crippen "D" Copy books that I picked upon Heritage: BTW, if anyone happens to have the Crippen copy of Georgie #11, there is a very interested buyer right here.
  23. I gotta say Action Comics #1 all the way!! Just kidding. For sure the first appearance of Batman, dust shadow aside. I would take a 2.0 Action #1 without tape over the 4.0 Detective though.
