  1. +1 And this could become a much bigger problem. We have people on these boards ( and elswhere ) that crack and resub. Crack and press and re-sub, and on and on. There are alot of books in the mix now that have exchanged hands many times, so there's a lot of history somewhere about these books. This could really turn into something more than this one incident. Where does it stop. DR.X
  2. Those are two great looking books Bill, the colors on those look really nice. DR.X
  3. Hopefully I will be starting up another sales thread tonight! This thread will be all Marvels, including early F.F.s, Daredevils, Avengers, and some Giant-Size Marvels. Probably around 200 books. These are all low-grade issues for those on a budget. I will try and get started around 6 Central as usual. DR.X
  4. I could not count how many book's I've sold Dave. Never a problem. Solid as they come. DR.X

  7. After reading this thread this gives me a new idea for my sales threads. Lifetime return policy, no questions asked. Krap on it, leave it outside durning a rainstorm and the staples rust to he ll. Chop it in half with miter saw. Drop it in the toilet if your in the middle of reading it, no problem. You get an immediate refund. DR.X
  8. What does it smell like? I just read this whole thread. It smell's like crapage to me. DR.X
  9. How did it survive the other 50+ years? DR.X
  10. I can only imagine the response from the Boards on soft grading if this Avengers 3 was truly graded 9.4 ! () I think that book is a good candidate for the next grading contest. It may come back a 9.4. DR.X
  11. Hopefully I will be running another thread starting tommarrow night. Around 6 Central as usual if thing's go right. I have around 110 War Books ready to go and may add 20 or so Giant-Size Marvels and the like. Lot's of $1.00 goodies here. DR.X
  12. Great looking book. It sure presents better than a 4.5. DR.X
  13. O.K. here's a question though. How do you protect something like this. You obviously cannot get it into a mylite. So do you try and get it into magazine size bag, or what. DR.X
  14. Not Ducks, but more Walt Kelly goodness.
  15. I don't collect Mad's but do hang on to a few here and there.
  16. Nice book, I'm starting to think about upgrading my 7.5. I think that book has alot of room to move yet to the upside. DR.X
  17. I NEED TO MOVE SOME STUFF - ROUND 2 I was going to start this thread last night but the boards were down. I will try again tonight if everthing is running o.k. My feedback thread is now fully operational thanks to Dice X. DR.X
  20. Why not? Not everyone can pay nose-bleed prices for books. There are some nice low grade copies that can present very well. Nice to have them in hand and read them too. Remember, you can always upgrade if more funds become available later on, and sell the undercopy. DR.X
