There were certianly no shortage of muck monsters in the pre-hero Monster universe:

 

I love the cover of that S.T. # 75. It would go good with my # 77. This is what I get for tying to de-rail a thread with mud monsters! . I should know better around you guys.

You are correct sir, hes an alien inside of a ship that looks like a robot. I just had to read it over again after pulling it out.

I have that issue and I know Ive asked this before. That cover always bothered me. When you read the actual story in this issue, theres no such creature or whatever that looks like the picture on the cover. I always wondered if something got swapped around or switched when this book went to print.

Yes, the movie sucked big time. I still feel ( my own opinion ) that these books have yet to see their day. They may not move like alot of the other Marvels, but I think there is still some upside in them. I have no intention of selling my run anyway, its buried deep in the back yard.

Does anyone else think Daredevil is way undervalued compared to the rest of the Marvels? I just picked up a #16 CGC 9.0 in Chicago a few weeks back. I submitted my #1 to CGC for onsite grading at the con. I posted it on here some months ago concerning some color loss on a few of the letters. Had a guy in line tell me the book wasnt worth slabbing due to the defects. He said my # 5 wasnt worth slabbing either. The # 1 came back 7.5. The # 5 was a 8.0 ( that one was a dissapointment ). Thats life. Still happy with the # 1 though.

My problem with this whole thing is that is wasnt as if he just lied about one thing. It started with the dishonest sales thread when Roy dropped the hammer on the two books. Then it started to snowball. One lie, one top of another lie, and it just kept going til he got caught. Its not hard for me to forget about an honest mistake and someone fess's up to it. But he didnt come clean til he got caught. The story about the shop, his brother, hours hes there and leaves,etc, etc. He spent alot of time spinning this pile of dung. 'Then he throws himself at the mercy of the mods and the boards. I cant speak for anyone else here, to each his own. Me, Ive got no use for someone like this.
