    I see, very prudent. Belay my last outburst, then. $425 for a CGC 9.0, sure. For what might at best be an 8.0 (both bottom corners are soft, several color breaking staple and spine stresses AND it appears that the [in]conveniently placed price sticker is covering a corner crease) I am nowhere near that price. Hope this helps.

    Correct, they are bindery perforations and not considered a defect. Quite a few color breaking spine stresses... 8.0 Sweet book!

    First off, very nice book! It’s difficult to give an overall grade as defects and condition issues aren’t as easy to see if the book is left in the bag, and impossible to see on the back cover. I would tentatively give this book a 7.5.

    Pictures are good except for the lighting. Might I suggest using a second light source so you have less shadows? The brighter the better as it is easier to assess the condition of the book. 7.0...maybe

    It looks like in a previous life this book was owned by an auto mechanic that had a Cheeto addiction. All kidding aside... If I may make a suggestion, some close up pictures of the back cover would be helpful. There appears to be significant stains on the BC. 7.0 maybe 7.5
